Hi all
Here is something to chew on. What I am doing is looking for a long term setup / betting
strategy for both P-3 and P-4. Here is what I am looking at. The first picture shows the
data for pick-3 and the second pick-4
The data shown here is the change value for step-1 for all positions. For pick-3 I count somewhere
around 34 and for pick-4 around 20. This is where all 3/4-positions step-1 was (C). If you look at the
the top row is position 1 the second is position 2 etc. Anywhere all 3 or 4 are red it means that if a
person set all step-1's to (C) then a straight hit would be in the lines generated. I think there are 107
games displayed here so for pick-3, 107\34=3.147 games averaged out. Pick-4 = 107/20=5.35.
Pick-4 MO
Next I move to the Stacks filter option and set all 20 stacks to static ranges 0 to 2
Here we have reduced the pick-4 from 10,000 down to 840 lines using all static settings, ie no analysis. Lets say that
the game continues on average to show this around one of every five games. Making $1.00 games, 840 lines comes
to $84,000. If one in 5 of those 100 bets hit then here in MO we have 20*$6000.00 or $120,000.00 in payouts. So
when we subtract the cost we end up with $120,000 - $84,000 = $36,000 profits using static settings.
This however is way beyond most peoples budget as a few misses in a row would add up in a hurry. This brings us to
the last step.
using 2 values in each cell the 840 is reduced to 6 lines.
The order the tools are used is not important as long as all 3 are used. I am in the process of working on
a tool that combines the rogues values into two options. 0&1 = 1 and 2&3=2. This means that the rogues
choices would be either 1 or 2, ie, 50/50. I have not checked out to see what the overall (C) steps average
but if they hold up then this could pay a nice profit.
The number of rogue cells that the user set would determine the play budget but most I think should be able
to cover at least 6 lines. Pick-3 has a greater hit rate and while it does not have the payout of pick-4 it would
make a nice profit provided one played through and could manage to hit the rogues using two values in each
cell. With pick-3 setting 2 values for each cell will reduce to 32 lines without any other filtering so this may be
best applied to pick-4 play.
