The green highlighted rogue values are always calculated using the top set in the database,
in other words, if you have not updated the draw-file the highlighted values will not match
the set you are checking, red indicates a missed value.
The highlighted rogue option was added during development to provide me a simple means
to test the code for accuracy. The asterisks indicate positional hits which were also test code
that was left in place. When I write a program I sometimes add dozens of these little things
to help me in the debugging process. Most are removed once the program is complete but
sometimes I leave a few because I think they will be of use to the user.
What I expect is that you are inputting the 4-winning digits manually and then hitting the check
button. This will give you the correct information for the lines/sets in the draw-file as far as
straight/box hits but the green values are calculated using the last updated set in the database.
I suggest updating the database first before checking, this way everything will be correct. I will
look at the code and if it's not too big a deal, I will change it so that the values will be based on the
set being checked regardless of if the set is in the database or not.
I put the 5584 set in my database along with your rogue setup and here are the results. Looks like
you missed rogue positions F & G. I suggest playing on paper until you build your skills a little more.
P.S. you can R-click the [check] button on the main screen and the program will just check the
rogue values without opening the check-tool. The highlighted values stay visible for around two
seconds then change back.
Nice job on your setup, keep it up.
