Alchemist
The rogue is my base development software and not a single platform like the stuff I put up for
download. When I get a new idea I generally build it into the rogue first as it contains blocks of
code that speed development time. I would estimate that there is at least 25 programs built
into the rogue but only a few can be accessed through the displayed interface.
A few years back I wrote a program called CF251 which was a multiple option lottery tool which
in the end became such a monstrosity that it was hard for me to remember how to use it. I think
it ended up being over 250K lines of code and was developed to be infinitely expandable.
The CF251 was cross platform meaning that the sets generated from one option could be passed
to any other for further reduction. In almost every lottery tool there are a few values that are very
easy for the user to pin down. The idea behind the CF was to start with one option and only set the
values that were easy then move to another setting the easy stuff. The idea was to move from tool
to tool where each tool used lines generated by the previous tool until a play budget was reached.
It worked amazingly well for what it was designed to do with one exception.
Each tool was designed around a totally different method and as such each tools analysis required a
different mindset. I found it impossible to separate one analysis from another as every analysis
interface looked like all the others. This was done so that if one learned to use one they could use
them all.
The problem was that while all the data was displayed in the same format for each tool the methods
needed to analyze the data were different. What worked well for one would not work at all for another
as each analysis requires tweaking. I found it impossible to keep them straight so I trashed the program.
Maybe some day I will return to it as it was designed for all lottery games. Daily games up to 6-digits,
All number games with up to 2 bonus balls and keno. It had a few dozen tools, a lottery calculator, a
bet-slip printer, live update plus game mode for learning etc... I had hopes it would be the most advanced
lottery tool ever created. Ended up in the trash.

index tool option.
