Already today we are witnessing a change in the rules in large US lotteries, which reduce the initial jackpot due to falling sales, but the cost of the lottery ticket remains the same. Apparently, similar changes in the Eurolotto EuroMillions and EuroJackpot can soon be expected. It seems like these are predictable steps on the part of the founders of the lotteries, but now the question is what will happen to large US and European lotteries if the covid-19 crisis drags on for several months or a couple of years, for example?

To win the lottery, you must have not only luck, but also a lottery ticket too.

That question may already have been asked by the powers that be PWB. It is as Napoleon once said " No plan survives the first shot."

It will be interesting to see what solution they come up with.

If this BS drags on for months, I'd be more worried about food than playing the lottery.

Statement from Dr Birx ... People who die of a heart attack while infected with Chinese coven-19 are reported as a death from coven-19. People who die from lung cancer while infected with coven are reported as a death from coven. And how many people who die from the common flu are reported as casualties of this virus?

CDC website data... 2017-2018 flu killed 80,000 Americans. How come we don't hear about the Americans who die from the common flu anymore? Did the common flu or even the common cold run away when Coven showed up? Not saying this isn't serious but its been blown way out of proportion.

And here's another stat for those who question all the deaths in Italy from coven-19 this year. Flu deaths in Italy 2013-2014.... 68,000 deaths.

I'm reading that doctors expect covid-19 to come back this fall, but with what they know and are learning, will be better equipped to deal with it.

I also read this morning that people that have had covid-19 may experience problems in the future with their heart, kidneys, and liver due to low oxygen when they were sick.

The lotteries aren't going anywhere, but they may not be like the old days. Survival is more important than gambling on long shots.

COVID-19 might be one of the most infectious diseases ever and still no approved vaccine. Social distancing by staying at home is helping to stop the spread and buying lottery tickets should be the least of the problems. As long grocery and convenient stores are open, lottery terminals will print out tickets. Scratch-offs require someone to physically deliver the tickets so that could be a problem especially if a lottery employee gets infected or decides they could. And look for some lotteries to go to RNG drawings
