Let's Hammer Out A Pick 3 Straight For YOUR State!Prev TopicNext Topic

I get the squared part, pretty much self-explanatory. But where did you get 56 from? It appears may be you subtracted 25 from 81.
Does it matter which column it's placed in?

Hello Lotto,
When replying to someone please check the box above where it says "include this quoted text in your reply" when you to go post so the person you're talking to knows who you're talking to. I'm assuming this is for lakerben but just so you know :) Welcome to LP!

Hi there LottoLaughs, it is sooo great to see you back on LP as everyone else has stated! I just typed a huge reply based upon what I usually do to get winning hits, but somehow nothing posted and the screen went back to the homepage once I hit post reply. I have to run a few errands, but will try to remember everything I previously wrote and post it here. Thanks for bringing this post to the forefront...you really hit the nail on the head!
m3, always great to hear from you :) I appreciate all your kind words. That happens to me too sometimes when I go to post, errrrrr. Wish there was a way to save something when you're writing a post but have never figured that out, if it's even possible. Maybe a suggestion we can give to Todd on the suggestion board.
Thanks for stopping in to visit. I'd love to hear your idea!
Next time you're planning a big post you might want to write it out in Word and then copy and paste your posting. I do that sometimes.

There is no reason to lose a long post after you've typed it, and no suggestions are needed. There is already a "rescue/auto-save" feature built into the text editor.
You simply click the "Life Ring" symbol on the top-left of the text editor's toolbar, and it brings back the last contents that were in the editor -- even if you accidentally closed the web browser.
That feature has been there literally for 10 years now.

I wish I had known that a long time ago, lol. Thank you Todd. Maybe some others will learn something new today as I have.

I am so glad to learn about this feature...never clicked on it all these years I've been here & have lost many text for one reason or another & I could have gotten it back so easily.

So let's get back to business. On another thread I started in the Pick 3 forum, I listed the Top 10 Hottest Straight Front Pairs for the whole country. But... if I go by the poll I took awhile ago about what kind of data people were most interested in, it was 29 to 15 that our LP members preferred your own state and not all states.
I'm still on the fence about that. For myself, researching all states gives you a much wider field to explore. So I'm going with all states data here but it can STILL help you hammer out a straight in your state, I believe. Keep reading :)
Let's take a look at the Top 10 Straight Front Pairs. I made a mistake on the other thread but after today searching every single one, these are the tops:
10x 21x 22x 44x 52x 54x 64x 75x 80x 88x
It's interesting to find that 3 of them are doubles.
Let's stop right here.
Now we KNOW what the 10 Hottest are. But I know what you're thinking.
So what if these are the Hottest in the country? It's NOT MY STATE.
Well...YOUR state was included in these results, right? So they must have shown up at sometime. More times then you might think.
What does this all mean to you? Okay. So now we have 10 Top Pairs, you're saying to yourself.
Jiminy Crickets! That's 100 NUMBERS. That doesn't help me in the least!
I know a lot of people ignore "All State" threads because they feel it doesn't pertain to them. It's too generic, too iffy.
But is there any such thing as specific state data that has helped you win a straight on a consistent basis?
I wonder. Yes, we can look at what is DUE, what is running HOT and so on and so forth. But, does this kind of thing help you in your everyday play? I mean, if someone has studied their own state's past history and think they have finally figured it all out they should be a millionaire. I doubt we have too many Pick 3 millionaires here, lol. Maybe I'm being snarky. But even after 10 years of being on the Lottery Post I'm still receiving PM's from members needing a number to play. So that tells me there's a lot of you out there who need some roots, something to go on,someplace to start.
How many of you even know your Pick 3 game's Hottest Digit?
Doesn't it make sense to know that at least so you have ONE number that can always be your "go to" number?
I'm not saying anything new, it's just common sense. But let's get back to these Hot Straight Pairs and how it can help YOU win a straight in YOUR state.
100 numbers. Well, let's look at it this way. We have eliminated 900 numbers to have to consider. That to me is a big deal. ANY number you can eliminate is a huge plus.
Yes, you may have your pet numbers. And yes, you may have had a few hits with them. That's great! I'm not telling you to never play any other numbers but common sense and facts are telling us that these should be your "go to" front pairs. No sums, no v-tracs, no mirrors or magic. Just the facts.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with systems or however else you decide what to play. But let's rely on the facts a little bit here and see if anybody winds up with a straight using them. If you don't...well... then I'll shut up and we'll go back to systems, lol.
So how do I figure out which of these 100 numbers to play in MY STATE?
100 101 102 103 104 105 106 107 108 109
210 211 212 213 214 215 216 217 218 219
220 221 222 223 224 225 226 227 228 229
440 441 442 443 444 445 446 447 448 449
520 521 522 523 524 525 526 527 528 529
540 541 542 543 544 545 546 547 548 549
640 641 642 643 644 645 646 647 648 649
750 751 752 753 754 755 756 757 758 759
800 801 802 803 804 805 806 807 808 809
880 881 882 883 884 885 886 887 888 889
The first thing I would look for (and this is just my opinion) is which one of these
front pairs is longest out.
Let's use KENTUCKY for an example. No particular reason. I just chose it randomly.
Starting from Feb. and going backwards, let's mark out the pairs that have already shown until we come to the longest out. (Notice how many straights there were from our list in almost 4 months time. Still going to say that all states data doesn't matter?)
10x 21x 22x 44x 52x 54x 64x 75x 80x 88x

Now we've narrowed down our 100 to 10.
88x!
Takes all the "guess work" out of it, doesn't it? No more wondering and pondering what to play. Look to see which one of these pairs is longest out and...boom! Got your pair for a month or so at least.
Are you ready for the rest of the results?

And since it was out for such awhile it showed up again in April. Now I would retire it and move on to the next longest out in KY which would be...what?
75x KY! This would be the only pair I would concern myself with right now if I lived in KY.
Let's try another state. How about NM? Not too popular a state on here but have to try it out for lakerbennie :)
Again, we'll start from Feb. But you can start at any time. I'm just using these examples to show you how it can go from month to month.
Cross out what's already come up.

Plus lots of other straights from the list in between in case you were just randomly picking numbers to play.
This is your Hot List, folks.
And that's my 2 cents for today.
To be continued.....

Plus lots of other straights from the list in between in case you were just randomly picking numbers to play.
This is your Hot List, folks.
And that's my 2 cents for today.
To be continued.....
Very nice explanation!!
Of course, using this information with what you already do, if it its working for you, is a plus. How does that work? For instance my vtrac indicator for this evenings draw is 1 and 4. So that means that the digit 8 and 3, and digit 0 and 5 should be at the forefront. And double can really be in play. Why? 2 doubles indicators just came....and all odd combination, and just before that a consecutive trio combination. And as lottolaughs said these are HOT!
How hot? The 08 front pair is 350 draws out. Yes, I know that's not 80, but using the pairs analysis feature on LP I can see this. The 10 front pair is out 254 draws. Does this make it more likely. Not according to the rules of randomness, but to the rules of likelihood, yes. What is out will come in.
So, yep. I'm on those pairs in my workout!!
Did you do your tracking today ??

If you consider P2 , then the 100 numbers to filter make sense. P3 has average of 9000 pairs, so the odds of a front pair is 1/9000. You can select any pairs(based on whatever method) only for strategic wage, it does not change the odds.Be mindful that the odds remain constant for each draw, so tracking for long overdue, hot or cold pairs is just waging strategy, it can't be a predictive tool.

I'm not sure I understand this. How can your odds be 9,000? There are only 1,000 numbers total. This just doesn't make sense to me?
We are only dealing with these 10 pairs in exact order. How do they turn into 9,000?

LMAO, really?
00-99=100 pairs
