Two new scratch-off games will be available April 18, the North Carolina Education Lottery announced today.

The games are "$25,000 Pay" and "Fast 5's."

Four scratch-off games are currently available from the state lottery, which began March 30.

As of Monday lottery ticket sales have reached over $51 million, according to the state lottery.

Approximately $25 million has been paid out in prizes.

The lottery is scheduled to make its first deposit to the state's Education Lottery Fund by the end of the fiscal year, which ends June 30.

Net proceeds from ticket sales go into a fund designed to pay for pre-kindergarten programs for at-risk 4 year olds, class size reduction, school construction, and provide college scholarships to need-based individuals.
