  Ok.  This one probably needs some explaining, so here it is.  Let's say you won the lottery.  Would you do something extraordinary, such as selling your story to reader's digest or oprah, or even opted for your own reality show (that's what i'd do.  i'd want people to see the real me.)?  Anyway, if you answer yes to the question, please state what you would do.

  I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

  Hi, Since I love privacy, and I want to be left alone, absolutely no publicity and no television interviews, period.  Anyway, if the lottery amount is $30 million or more, I'd probably move to Atlanta, GA or San Francisco, CA.

  No, I don't want people to see the real me.  Why should I put myself out like that?

  I would do it to show that winning the lottery hasn't changed me too much.

  Good question. But, weren't you the one wanting to be totally anonymous when you won? As for your question...No, I don't think I would want to tell the whole world my story because I don't want the blood hounds after me for money nor do I want to exploit myself like that; However, it would be good to come back to a website like this one and share my winning experience with those who want to know.

  I am a writer and the only thing the winning would really do for me is help me find the best writing coaches out there so that I can hone my writing skills. But, the subject of my writings would have nothing to do with winning the lottery.

  Opera already did that show and you weren't in it LOL Neither was I many of the people who were had problems dealing with the public because they were constantly being hounded for money from every kind of person. Some were able to deal with there new found fame better than others. Still it takes lots of planing to live out the rest of your life after hitting the jackpot. Especially if you go public. Imagine having to spend every waking hour constantly under a microscope.

  If I won the lottery, the first thing I would do is give my 10% to my church. I would then pay all of my bills. Both of my parents would definately get a share of my winnings. My kids would go to college. What is left over would be put into an account to draw interest.

  I first would not give for any reason interviews to any one because my financial freedom is my business and no one elses.  Depending on how large the amount is I would take a chunk of it to las vegas and high roll it.  Just because I can and have always dreamed of playing large in vegas with the jackpot that I won.  Like the great one Rick Flair said it best, "Styling and profiling".

  I just want to buy a nice, modest house, a decent car and some other stuff I've been wanting, invest & save my money...help some family members out and donate to some charities I like and my church.
  
  
  
  I will say this...unless you win an insane amount of money...no one is going to be hounding you. I think 2-10 million, your pretty safe if you are careful before and after you claim your prize.

  if someone has 20 cents in their pocket and you have 20 dollars in yours. Your rich compared to the other person. Whenever someone has more of something especially money someone is going to want some of it albeit the Realtor, the grocery store, the doctor or whomever. If you don't have a way of replacing every dollar you spend. Sooner or later you'd go broke. I think it's insane that the average pricing of homes in the area of around 250,000 dollars. and all the expense of owning and keeping up with the status quo. You almost have to be a millionaire to own one and maintain any type of social life. I don't know where they come up with these exuberant prices. I don't see income levels approaching no where near enough for people to be able to afford such lifestyles.

  If I won, I'd pay off all my bills, my home, etc., give to charity, and pretty much keep living as I have lived before.  I'd probably still shop sales, drive a low cost automobile, and pretty much keep a low profile.  I wouldn't show off like some previous winners have.  I remember reading one story about an early Louisiana Lottery winner who went out and bought a Porsche and wrecked it!

  Some people feel deficient in some way and have to show off for everyone.  Some people think "Image is everything."  I'm not like that.  I'm happy in an average home driving a low cost automobile and just enjoying life.  I'd probably spend more on things like gadgets(I like tech stuff like computers, GPS units, ham radio, and the like) and things for the home, not stuff to show off.

  Like what was said before, there are alot of $250,000 mini mansions going up here too.  I don't understand it myself.  What's worse is many of those houses aren't well built, with things like plastic moldings, low quality carpeting, and the list goes on.  It's all about image.

  I would pay off my bills, parents, brothers ect. Stop working where I do and volunteer my time to more important places, elderly, etc.  stay home and take care of my children instead of paying someone else to raise them.
