The Whole is Equal to the Sum of It's Parts - I'm sure you probably all remember this expression from high school math. I have a little theory regarding this and the PowerBall Lottery. My feeling is that the double digit numbers are actually individual intergers. I believe that the so called "ball" bounces back and forth along the line of these winning numbers, adding and subtracting as it goes, resulting in your new winning numbers. For example, the winning numbers for May 1 were 01-34-47-10-39-33-3. Note the bolded 33 is your powerball and the bolded green 3 is your powerplay. We don't want to leave out any numbers in this valuble game. Let's take a look at my example. If we put a 2 between the 1 and the three, it would result in consecutive numbers 01234. We'll begin there. Start from that #4 and subtract going to your left.
4-3=1
4-2=2 Result = 2,1 - I subtracted 3 and 2 because it's the number before 33, which in this game is the powerball.
Next: 3-2=1 The next number in line.
We're at the end of the line so we'll either add or subtract back in the opposite direction (to your right), starting with the number 2.
2+3=5 The next number in line.
5-4=1 The next number in line.
1+4=5 The number 6 will make the following 7 consecutive, therefore, the next number in line will be 6.
7+1=8 The next number in line is 9.
Now we're at 10. Let's make that a 2 to make it fall consecutive between the 1 (of 10) and the 3 (of 39). This results in 1,2,3,9. Take your 2,3 and make it 3,2. (Remember, we are going in the opposite direction from where we started). This resulting in the next number in line - 32.
The remaining numbers are 9,3,3,3. Added together they equal 18. Your POWERBALL is 8 and the number 1 rolls up to next week, possibly giving you either a powerplay of 2 or a first number 1.
I like this strategy best because it's easy to follow. Most times things that seem so complicated are in your face easy.
