  the lottery is a suckers game. we buy a couple of bucks worth of tickets and all it does is build of the jackpot for some guy who spends a $100 bucks in quick picks and takes all the boot y.

  hahaha you really think there's any real difference between 2 bucks and a hundred on a several million to 1 odds bet? Just a guess probably .0000000001 percent difference. Bigger bets usually just lose more money faster.

  I agree that bigger bets usually just lose more money but if you are of "that" mindset, then you are destined to lose...as in "all" things that a person enters and wishes for ..YOU NEED A PLAN>>>you wouldn't go to the store without a shopping list...or do you?  Whatever the "investment" in the lottery, whether chump change or serious cash output..you should enter only if you have a plan in winning that pot of gold.  Without one you are just drifting on lifes ocean.

  Dear st. germain, the response was mainly to the wide brush dipped in suckers paint. I agree with you, that's why I stated "usually" and not "always". See my latest post in the Pick 5 forum.

  I take the view that adults can make up their own minds as to what they want to do with their money.  Why the heck can't I gamble it if I want to??

  I also think that gambling should be regulated, so that people can have confidence in those they choose to deal with.  Plus, it would be a fantastic source of revenue for the government that would lower everyone's taxes!

  oK. We can all c that namwobi is definitely not a pro. C'mon, "we buy a couple of dollars worth of tickets". Speak 4 u'reself. Thanks 2 peeps like u the pot grows. It goes 2 show that u're not a pro, and probably not ahead of the state in wins. If everyone knew tricks like a lot of us here in the forum, the winnings wouldn't be that much (depending on game and location) and the game would be changed by the commissioners to adjust to the average. So don't give out all u're secrets to just anyone peeps!
