                        Scotty's Computer on Star Trek

                                              

   OK... If you could borrow Scotty's computer on Star Treck and use it for a just a little while, what would you ask it? Remember, you don't have to use a keyboard on Scotty's computer.  So just ask!

   What would you ask  that could help you to win? What great displays would you ask it to put up on the screen for you to look at, and study? How would you use it? What could Scotty's computer give you that your software can't? What would you need? Just ask! Here is your chance to let it all hang out.

   My first question would be:

  What is the all time.... most winning number for all pick-3 games in all states since they began. I'll bet it has a digit one in it.

    What is the least picked number of all time? I'll bet it's a number with high digits.

    What is the average return rate for a straight? The math averages and the real world averages for all states.

    Display all the top records for each number group and the times each occurred.

    Which number group has the highest probabiltiy of showing today. What are  the numbers with- in that group with the best position probability math wise. What are the real world history and hit rates for that group in my specific state? 

    Please send me an ALERT when any number group reaches near the top of any all time records for being out of play.

  Back toward the beginnings of the Florida lottery I had a dos software called Sidewinder for Pick-3 and Pick-4.  It was fairly simple, you entered the 210 three  numbers and it told you how many times each had hit boxed ranked from most to least hits.
  
  With several years in the program some numbers had certainly hit more then others. 
  
  What I worked out, was if the lottery official kicking off the Pick-3 had let fall from his pocket a list of ten numbers that would hit the most often over the next couple of years from then to when.  Even if you had the ten hittingest numbers and played them at $10.00 a day (dollar each) straight/box, you still would have lost money big time!  BobP

   Bob, in your opinion, what current software out there best represents that particular function? Do you think that there is a business software or statistical analysis software out there that could be easily be adapted to our needs.
