Greg,
First of all, welcome back. I am a new member to Lottery Post myself. I think it is a great Forum and I am happy to be here.
Robert Serotic was an Author down in Florida that wrote years ago about wheeling and other strategies. Very similar to what Gail Howard has written about, only years before her.
Steve Player's book should be available on his website which is I think www.steveplayer.com
I am a Lottery information junkie myself and have more books than I care to admit. Still, the main problem I have had over the years is that there are not many, if any books out there to tell you or suggest to you how to select your numbers. Of course there are the hot and cold number, skips, repeats and etc., ideas, but in general, they are too vague. The best systems in the world cannot give you a winning ticket if you do not have the correct numbers among them. If you lived close to me, I would lend you both books to read.
I've learned over the years to analize the numbers myself and develop systems that work better for me. The idea is to lower the odds against you. The only way to do that is to buy more tickets or use strategies that over a certain amount of time will lower the odds of averages against you. I DO NOT win a prize in every lottery drawing that I buy a ticket for, but I can honestly say that at year end, I win more than I lose. There are certain things that happen within a Lottery that if you play on these occurences, will give you a slight advantage. One thing may happen on average of 70% of the time, another thing may occur 60% of the time, and there is one thing in the Lotto South Lottery that occurs almost 90% of the time. Knowing these things MAY give you an advantage at times, but not on EVERY drawing. I wont mention what these things are because I am working on a book myself. But, I will reveal one that most of you probably already know. That is on most state lotteries, one number repeats from one drawing to the next on an average of around 70%+ of the time. It is how you use this information that matters.
I think the true goal of any Serious Lottery Player would be to either win the jackpot, or win more than he or she losses at year end.
So, with that said, develop or find the system that works best for you and most of all, Have fun playing. And let me know when you win something, I enjoy hearing about it....
Thanks....Lottery Analyst
