  those numbers from? I just checked and the DJIA closed +33.43, the NASDAQ is -10.40 and the S&P 500 is +3.8.
  
  Years ago, I was a stockbroker and I noticed then the relationship between the stock market and the lottery. I never kept up with it since I changed careers, but I think I am going to look at it long and hard. One thing I noticed years ago was only the + numbers came in not the minus numbers.
  
  I will bet that 33.43 will be in some form in the 3 or 4 digit tomorrow. Like the BIRD says, all numbers are relative. The 3's could be 8's and the 4 could be a 7....
  
  3&8 might be a hot pair tomorrow or in Georgia tonight due to the S&P.

  The 3 numbers to the left of the decimal-I look at MSN home page. Not + or - just those two sets of three numbers. Years ago there was an old version of the lottery that people would play and bet money with traveling insurance men, based on what these numbers would end up each day.
