If your serious follow these steps.

First write a program that has some sort of a predictor based on the filters you want to use.

Next automate the predictor so that it makes random choices from the filters history to use

in making the prediction and store the results so that they can be accessed later.

Next repeat the above a few hundred times

Now check the results of all test and then select the filters that had the highest hit rates. Normally

85% or higher

Next using those high hitting filters run the predictor again for just those filters. You may want

to allow the predictor to choose half the filter's range of values.

Example, lets say the range for the filter is "012345678" then allow the top 4 choices to be used

in the live play prediction.

In the picture below I allowed the predictor to choose half the in-range values for each filter.

The result was that it hit 30 out of 32 correct. It's a work in progress but it averages 85 to

95% with a few 100% runs.

It normally takes 13 or fewer good filters to reduce most pick-5 games to fewer then 10 lines.

The 13 highlighted filters shown in the second picture were chosen at random by the program

and then they were set to a single values based on the last updated game, ie, after the fact.

Any 13 filters for this program set to single values will produce similar results.

Here is another after the fact run for cash-4-life pick-5 of 60. 13 filters chosen at random which produced

3 total lines with 1ea 5-of-5 and 2ea 4-of 5 hits. Don't track data game to game but code the predictor to

select it's data points at random. The biggest mistake I ever made was in analyzing data in series.

It would really help if you asked something like "how to learn to use filters together in order to bring good return in pick 4 games, 5/39 games, or maybe 5/70 + 1/25 games". And then tell us if you want to use all the numbers or digits or some of them.

Don't need 100% filter accuracy in games with secondary prizes but you without it, you can't win the jackpot.

The odd thing I notice about filters is that most Any filtering you apply to a given number set lowers it's over all hit rate.

Rather than try to eliminate impossible, non-fruitful patterns, zero in on possible, fruitful patterns. Choose to focus effort on the positive.

This is a superb piece of work. Took a lot of brain drain and work.

My first thought was this framework would make a great RNG. It allows for greater control on the make up of the overall number selection. But the more I look at it the more I like the detail and analysis.

Put this one with "the good stuff."

Wheeling was much more popular back in the day when tickets were a $1. Those of playing abbreviated 5 of 15 number wheels knew even if we matched 5 numbers the number of lines played divided by 3003 was our percentage of winning. The number of combos using the same 5 numbers becomes more obvious by matching all 5 numbers and only getting the wheel guarantee.

A 3 if 5 of 15 numbers wheel has only 13 lines of the 3003 possible (0.433%) combinations using 15 numbers. The thing is, that wheel still creates 13 chances to get a five number match depending on how the numbers are entered into the wheel. And the user friendly LP wheels offer an excellent way to experiment.

"zero in on the possible"

If using more numbers is their thing, there are several ways to use all 39 numbers; with on 8 lines as the least amount. If someone does know which numbers to eliminate, why aren't they winning the jackpot every drawing?

The KY Lottery just started a 5/39 game, but the terrible secondary prize payoffs really cut into winning enough to play until a jackpot is hit. I'll stick with Cash Ball 225 and its better jackpot and secondary prizes.

A belief is anything we put our faith in whether it has merit or not. Wheels have some merit. The "experts" sold us on the idea that it was the only way to play the lottery on a budget to cover the widest possible range with a small investment. What they didn't say is wheels spread you so ultra-thin globally there is no change in the odds of hitting a jackpot .

But wheels have a place if the player only hopes to win something while maybe lucking into a jackpot at some point. I can't knock them. I don't mess with them, don't know enough about them to list the strengths and weaknesses. I'd rather take my shots on something I believe in. Nobody but me to blame for the losses.

Now, the lottery is a test we take that has no answer until the draw. It's an open ended math problem that defies conventional math. We can say this pattern happens 70%, that pattern 72.5%, and the other pattern 78%. But in reality how often does any of the 70%, 72.5%, and 78% come together?

If math as the sole solution seems as hundreds or thousands using one of the professional grade softwares written by leaders in the lottery field would be reaping enormous profits weekly. That's not happening, is it?

Yeah, something is missing. We've got math problem we can't solve because the answer is unknown to the universe until some little white balls pop out of wind machine and roll out into a shoot, or a computer spits up some numbers on a screen.

Then 99.9999999% are left wondering, "How did they come up with that?"

So we're stuck between luck, math, and intuition. People can sell the luck and math idea. I'm not sure they've found a potion to sell for intuition (yet).

I don't agree with filters. Seems to me filters are nothing but busy work. If you know all the filters you want to use for a given situation, why not get ahead of the game and make tables of what to play if certain patterns occur? Why wait until an event occurs to start deciding what to do? Then all you do is fill in the numbers. Simple. Or too simple?

Too, I don't think that one draw changes the complexion of the game so much that everything needs to be redone every draw. I once tried tracking in ten draw interval and 15 draw intervals. And there may be points of transition, or points of aberration, but I never found a point where a game made a drastic change in its overall make up.

I don't understand all the things Caps has done, don't have definitions for what's what, don't know all the work that went on behind the scenes that went in to producing what he shows. I'm sure he has taken pains to check what he uses and his calculations.

And that's probably the best any of us have until the intuition potion is available. (And that can't come soon enough when you consider no matter how much math you use, you still have to decide what numbers to play)

hello garyo We haven't been able to create wheels yet but with filter criteria = eg, if you choose 25 numbers from the 49/6, any wheels filtered like this have a maximum of up to three numbers from previous draws, a maximum of 4 even and two odd and 4 odd and 2 pairs, etc. or be very wide filters with a lot of torque, here
this filter too, mini and maximum per column, set in ascending order, this filter has to do when generating the wheels, of course the draws have to be given inside
of the patterns of the chosen filters, is this possible?
