Overall the site looks great.
You are using a different font for the new site and it may be the same size as the old site but it looks smaller. I would personally prefer the old font or may just make the new font just a little bigger.
I like being able to see as much as possible on one page. When looking at the pick 3 forum on the old site we can see the pinned topics and the other hot and open topics on one page.
On the new site, we can only see the pinned topics. I thought you may be trying to create more space for advertising or something. It's cool. Not a big deal.
One last thing, the arrow at the bottom right-hand side that helps you scroll up faster, can we have one at the top as well. I understand you have the scroll-down arrow but the scroll down at the top right-hand side is not the same. If we are in the middle of a page and need to scroll to the bottom of the page we have no way to quickly do that.
Lottery Post forever!!!!
Thank you for the feedback, including helpful screenshots. Although you are comparing to the current desktop website, the new website actually draws from both the current desktop and mobile websites. (80+% of people use Lottery Post on a phone, so most people are using the mobile website currently.)
For the first time, one font is used consistently throughout the website, on both phones and computers. The font was carefully chosen based on its clarity, ability to scale to both large and small sizes well while maintaining readability, the fact that numbers are represented clearly (since the lottery obviously uses numbers quite a bit), and other such factors.
Speaking not just as the developer of LP, but as someone who has been using the new website for over a year, I think you'll find that after using the new website for a while, if you were to go back to using the old one, the old fonts would look much worse — archaic even. I think the new one will grow on you pretty quickly.
Regarding font size, differences in size are actually very small, and in many cases the new font size is actually bigger. Much of it is a perception that it is small, because the letters and numbers on the current/old website are so wide. Again, I think you will grow accustomed to the new font after using it for a bit, and will actually find it more readable.
As your screenshots show, the new site does get rid of a lot of extra "stuff" on the pages, like the "hot" icons in the forums, etc. In fact, the concept of rating threads from 1-5 stars has been eliminated. Instead, it only maintains the ability to up/down vote individual posts.
If you have used the forums on a phone, the new website would probably feel right at home, as the style is an advanced version of that. The new website merges the overall style of the old mobile website with the paging and more full features of the desktop website — and eliminates several small things that were hardly being used anymore. (Like the "hot/cold" icons.)
Spacing is done for readability and functionality purposes, not for advertising space. The website needs to function well for computers, tablets, and phones, as well as for both mouse input and touch input. The old desktop website that you screenshotted was built for just mouse input and big computer screens.
The "go to botttom" and "go to top" controls are exact carry-overs from the old website. (On a phone, you would tap the LP logo at the top to scroll to the top of the page, instead of using the glyph in the lower-right corner.) So nothing has been added or removed on that front.
I would be happy to discuss any other design decisions if you like, and I appreciate the input.

The Daily Numbers Results Page is slightly different than the Old version.
When you past the results into Winsome's Pick3Statedraws File some of the results are in different Cells.
Winsome is probably working on this but has not commented about it.
I have created a conversion file to match the new format to the current P3statedraws file.
Is there any chance to go back to the Old Format ?
The old format that separates states like Texas into multiple rows is going away. Someone who relies on copying and pasting stuff from Lottery Post will have to make their own adjustments.

I just published an update to the new website that fixes a problem where a member's personalize time zone was not being displayed correctly in several places. (Personalized time zone is set on the Account Settings page in the Options menu.)
Also, sorry about the new website becoming unresponsive for a couple of seconds every so often today. I have been doing lots of minor updates, and each time I do an update the website goes offline for a couple of seconds.

Hey Todd, thanks for the new version. I like the clarity. There's a feature which was not found in the older version and I was wondering if it can be added in the version. Take for instance if you're using the Inspector, it would give you the stats on what already came but if something is missing, it's not listed. Example: NY>Odd/Even>past 14 days: EEEO=7; EEOO=13; EOOO=7; but there's no stats for OOOO because it has not yet appear. Or maybe the feature was already there but I just don't see it. Thanks

It's there! Just un-check "Compressed results" and you will also see all the values that are not included in the list.

To be honest, I don't think too many people based decisions on the rating system. Players who do not create their own predictions go where the consistently winning predictors are no matter what the thread rating is. When comparing the old and new site, the lack ofextra "stuff"is significantly noticeable. Which of course, is a good thing. The new site is basically less fat and more muscle.

Ohhh ok.That's the thing. I'm definitely one of the big computer screen users. So my preferences are based on using a multiscreen desktop with a keyboard and mouse. It also took me forever to transition from phones with a keypad to phones with touchscreen only. I only use my phone or tablet when I'm on the go and that's even after I prepare my posts in advance on my desktop. I do not like typing multiple posts on my mobile devices because it takes forever to type on mobile devices. Two thumbs are no match for ten fingers. When posting in multiple states speed becomes big issue.
It seems like the new users and/or users that do not post often are more likely to use mobile devices to post and view content. The older users and/or users who post a high number of times daily/weekly are likely using desktops. "80+% of people use Lottery Post on aphone."Believe me, I get what you are doing and I support it. I'm just saying, don't forget about us big computer screen users that post winning predictions on a regular basis. You created a website, and people came. People are drawn to winners more than anything. Posters who win on a regular basis attract more people to this site. I'd be willing to bet that you have more winning posters on LP than anywhere else in the universe. We all work together to create high-quality content that keeps people coming back and attracts new members. If Lottery Post had stock for sale I'd buy as much as possible right now with no hesitation. The way I think is how can I help to make Lottery Post more profitable/valuable as poster.

Ok. Deep breathe in. Deep breathe out.
Believe me, I have more.

You added the scroll-up glyph for a reason. I'm sure this is primarily great for big computer screen users because it's easy to scroll all the way to the top or bottom of the page on a mobile device.
This request is for us desktop users. PLEASE add a scroll-down glyph to the upper right corner. I ain't too proud to beg. Pretty please with sugar on top. I/we want a scroll-down glyph.
I know you come across all kinds of characters on Lottery Post. Because of my time here, I'm working on turning my dream of being a professional lottery predictor/influencer into a reality. Instead of using other more popular social media platforms to post predictions, I'd definitely prefer to do everything that I can do on those platforms here. I can't wait to have my own Lottery Post channel so I can do live predictions and instructional videos. Some people prefer learning by reading books and text but keep in mind many people prefer learning from audio video presentations.
"Why you should whitelist Lottery Post
Operating a very large and popular website like Lottery Post costs a lot of money. If there were no advertising, Lottery Post would literally not be able to function. It would go dark."
Of course, adding things video content may significantly increase your operational costs. I'm sure I would not be the only one willing to raise funds to help you cover costs. Come up with a number and watch us work. There is no way in the world we would let you go dark. Realize your customers/ the lottery post community has your back. This is a mutually beneficial relationship.
(insert personal story here)
I was able to pay off debt and raise money to buy my parents a house due to being able to win from learning and practicing my lottery strategies here on Lottery Post. It took me years to get to this point. I haven't been able to predict to a high degree of accuracy and precision without using the software here and believe me I've tried. (Mainly thePositional Wheel for Pick 3,Deflate 3, and theInspector 3).You may have no idea how much you are intentionally and unintentionally improving lives because of the awesome power of Lottery Post.
The question becomes how much bigger and more awesome do you want to get.
I don't know if you're interested in making changes to the Predictions Board but hey I have a few suggestions.
1.3 billion fafillion predictions. I'm sure no other website comes close. Over 4.3 million quadrillion Pick 3 posts. No other game comes close.
The Pick 3 forum is undeniably the most popular forum because it is the easiest lottery out of all lotteries to win on a regular basis. Of course, there are other factors as to why it's so popular. However, my best guess is because more winning is happening more often.
I've been creating strategies and predicting for a little over a decade and I don't know anyone able to predict and win on the very first drawing on a regular basis. The primary way to win is to play the same combos until they win. This means choosing a specific number of drawings to play based on your budget. Currently, the Predictions Board basically counts a loss after each drawing you do not win. Why not make the Predictions Board reflect how profits are actually made. Predictors post in order to help people win. It's what we do because we obviously care.
Shout out to all of my fellow predictors out there. Thank you for all you do.I created the Predictors League thread to address this. Predictors must create detailed and specific forecasts that must win within 25 drawings using a limited number of combos based on the level of play. A loss is only counted if the predictor does not win within 25 drawings. To complete a level a predictor must win within 25 drawings 25 times in a row. This gives us a better way to measure the ability and performance of each predictor. Just like different levels of talent, skills, and abilities in sports exist, different levels also exist in the world of lottery prediction. We really must define what it means to be a top predictor and create parameters/criteria that justify someone being labeled a top predictor. Just like when starting a business, you are either going to use your own money or someone else's money or both. Many people that come to Lottery Post do not create their own strategies. They come to LP to get predictions to play from their favorite predictors. Why? For the simple fact that their favorite predictors likely win more often than they do.Since the pick 3 forum is the most popular forum, that means many people are coming to LP to get predictions from their favorite Pick 3 predictors. If you can't play football or poker you still have the ability to bet on the performance of your favorite football or poker player. It's the same concept with the (Pick 3) lottery. Ultimately, to trust the predictions of a predictor we need to see more/better stats than what the current Predictions Board shows. Many may not say it out loud but they are definitely thinking about these things.
If you have a booger in your nose I'm going to tell you in the most private and respectful way possible because I care about you. Most people will just look at you and talk behind your back because they are too scared or don't careenoughabout you to say something. Well Todd, the Predictions Board sucks/is not very helpful when it comes to winning. Of course, this is just my opinion. I'm sure new members use it the most. If you did a survey/poll to find out how many people actually use the Predictions Board to help them win, I predict no one or a very small percentage will say they win on a regular basis because of the information in the Predictions Board. Unless improvements are made it is something that can be left out of the new site. I would love to discuss ways to make the Predictions Board better if you're interested.
I know you don't do everything by yourself. So thank you and theentire Lottery Post staff for makingLottery Post the undeniably best lottery website in the world. Keep up the great work.
