About two weeks ago I noticed that the Ga lottery was offering Cash 3/4 tickets online now. When I went to play and selected QUIK PIK however, I noticed that it never gave repeating digits. Meaning selecting the QUIK PIK option will NEVER give the player Doubles or Triples. I personally have tested this out on desktop and mobile and even the app with the same results. Then I asked a couple of family members and a friend to try for themselves and the same thing occurred with them. Tried contacting ga lottery about it twice by email, the first time with no response and the second time they denied it. I also called the hotline and the representative tried it herself while on the phone with me and she was surprised because she couldn't get any repeating numbers herself.

If anyone is willing to try it themselves and reply with their results I'd be interested to see if I'm just crazy. You don't need to purchase anything or even have an account. Just go to the ga lottery website, click 'Buy Now' on Cash 3 and/or Cash 4, and click the QUIK PIK button to see what numbers it gives you. Then click the trash button to clear the numbers and afterwards you retry over and over and look at the results.

I'm not sure if this has already been discussed or is already known but I did try to search beforehand. Maybe other players won't see it as a big deal but it is in my opinion simply because it affects a player’s odds if they use QUIK PIK. I mean Singles in Cash 4 make up only about 50% of all permutations (I think).

I've played with on and off for a bit now.
No double. No triples.
Went back a bit later no doubles, no triples.
Contacted them on the contact page.
I'll go back in a little and try again.
Last 25 draws still no doubles/triples.

I'd contact local news stations TV, radio, newspapers. Get them involved.
Show them what you found. Show them how it works.
Once they start questioning it, the state will take a look and fix it.

Thank you for taking the time to try it out. I also first tried the Contact Us page to alert them. They never responded to that one. Then I called Monday of this week, which is when the representative told me she had the same experience and told me she would let someone in charge know and would get back to me. No one ever did of course. I was wondering who else I could even alert besides the lottery themselves. If they don't fix it soon, or at the very least acknowledge it, your advice may just be my next course of action.

The state is not going to get back to you about it.
Most will assume it working like it should, or not want to cause waves, or thought the idiot.

There is something in the code that prevents it from spitting out doubles or triples.
That will become a real problem when people start complaining they had no chance to win since the Quick Pick could/would not produce doubles or triples.

I'm quite surprised they even bothered to respond. Not at all surprised by the blatant avoidance of the issue though.

I would hope they are at least working to fix the problem and are just denying it exists until they do. Maybe because admitting it might stir up trouble for them with their players as you said earlier. It seems like a simple fix though(could be wrong as I know very little about coding) so I doubt it would take them this long to address it.

I plan on calling the tip line for a local news channel that does consumer investigating this Monday when they're available and seeing what they have to say about it.
