  So the last 5 plays the PB in Powerball has been

  Seems REALLY strange all 20's ??? And this happened when they added the Monday drawing.  The conspiracy theorist in me thinks something is up.

  Forget all of the 20s. Let's consider the odds of getting those specific results. With 26 numbers to choose from the odds of 25 being the power ball is 1 in 26. With 26 numbers to choose from the odds of 21 being the power ball in the next drawing is 1 in 26. The odds of 21 being the power ball again in the next drawing is still 1 in 26. And so on.

  Besides those results having exactly the same probability as any other 5 consecutive results, the odds of any 5 consecutive results are 1 in 26^5, or 1 in 11,881,376. That's about 24.5 times as likely the winning numbers being whichever 5+1 numbers they happen to be.

  It's also worth noting that they don't actually draw numbers. They draw balls. That you think the labels on one ball are somehow related to the label on another ball is a personal bias that has no affect on the results. Since balls labeled 21  came up 3 times you should also be aware that it's unlikely that they used the same ball set for all 3 of those drawings, which means that it's unlikely that they same ball was selected 3 times.

  Your choice whether or not to let reality make your inner conspiracy theorist reach a reasonable conclusion.

  Well even though others here seem to be reporting logical reasoning for this phenomena, I don't know if I trust MUSL since the Eddie Tipton fisaco. Lucky for Life drawing was my favorite lotto draw in Delaware and I usually won "something" nearly every draw when it was a ball drawing. RNG stuff in Delaware is hard to win anything. No matter how hard I try, I can never get a 4/6 in their MultiWin game, rarely even 3/3....and that's a 6/35 game! Keno is another computer controlled game in DE which is so obvious when one plays. They never list any Keno winners on the web site list, and few on the game monitors in the stores. Meanwhile, on the New Hampshire website, they list hundreds of monthly Keno winners, one who won $33,000 in August. They probably control the wins there also, but are not as greedy as DE. Back to MUSL and the Lucky for Life game takeover: they made it a daily game now using RNG which they never announced to anyone, and since then I have ceased to win. I know, sounds like sour grapes, but appears the RNG has a problem as it has favored even numbers about 65% to 35% in the 60 drawings. I know, a bias like that should be taken advantage of, but "sour grapes" again....when I try, they bring out the "odd numbers" next draw!! Regarding the recent PB draws (conspiracy theory), maybe the ball sets now have electronics in them and "wifi" signals are being sent to the ones they want to head for the chute, figuring that not many players will pick the higher numbers and the jackpot can grow since they are in a contest with MEGA. LOL!
