You will get it next time. As they say VAL likes to repeat.

My program that is supposed to find the most correlated 31-day frame from the past found a pretty decent match today. I've only been running this recently, so I still don't have a sense what is a "really good" map vs a "pretty good" correlation map. I think this probably qualifies as "pretty good." It's still fun to look at. I've only highlighted the straight hits. Some of you are way WAY better than me at spotting boxed hits so you'll probably see a lot more stuff than me. Anyway, this is just another workup I'm watching and waiting on...
As you can see, this program does something very different. It's not looking for perfect syncs like everything else I do. This program is designed to find the 31-day frame from the past that has the highest number of exact (and boxed) matches to the current 31-day frame.
The correlation program did something interesting. It is trying to maximize the correlation between the current numbers and the past numbers, so it picked up the exact same frame of numbers from the past (the 2002 numbers) and then put those in one day further down than yesterday so it picked up the straight hit on the 019 from yesterday. It's kind of subtle what it did. I had to look at the chart for a second to realize what happened and I wrote the darned program! The joke is on me, because that was what I originally intended the program to do, but this is the first time it's done what I thought it would. lol!
That is one highly correlated 31-day frame of numbers! So, for today, take the Saturday numbers from that 171 chart and intersect it with this chart and you get two numbers, 395 and 986. That's a nice short Saturday wish list that lies exactly at the intersection of two hot workups.

I had 4900 any easy pick with the fireball 0, is that another loser? I still don't get it.
Cynthhss9, I'm sorry you didn't win anything. If your Easy pick had been 4600 instead of 4900 (assuming you played it ANY way), you would have done pretty well. The FIREBALL was 0 so they would have made three different winners out of that ticket.
1) 4600 would have been a 12-Way ANY winner paying $400
2) 4600 would have been a FireBall 12-Way ANY winner paying $128
3) 4600 would have been a FireBall 12-Way ANY winner paying $128
The total would have been $656. That's as I understand the Fireball charts and rules.
Unfortunately, that is over the $600 limit so you would have been obliged to go to a Virginia Lottery office (or use the mail) to cash your ticket. This is why I wouldn't play P4 ANY Fireball. You might win just enough to cause trouble.
P.S. The lottery is supposed to do maintenance on their site this weekend. I am hoping that they will add a feature on their site will actually calculate what the Fireball payouts are, especially for the P4 which is much more complicated than the P3.
