I've felt most of those at one time or another, plus a few more. Isn't there a poll function that lets you check more than one box?

I always have high expectations for each draw ticket set only to feel the dismay when they lose bolstered by more ticket sets in the pipeline to look forward to.

That was years ago in the P3. Pretty much all I did was go +/- 1-2-3 from each digit in the last draw, then study the skip patterns. Then I chose the digits I thought were the best. Played 10-12 #s.

It worked well for a couple of years. Then all of a sudden it didn't. Like a lot of things, they run their course. As players, we might spot something, a pattern a trend or whatever, and we go with it. Then after awhile the lottery catches on and changes things up to throw us off. Then it's back to the drawing board.

There is no good feeling when you lose especially when you put so much attention, time, and effort in analyzing the game your playing.

You think you have the game figured out but you know what bites you in the arse.

There are days when you feel good about playing and days where you should stay away. Maybe your subconscious mind.

Bottom line is that you keep playing if you have the deep pockets.

Expecting a win only sets one up for disappointment.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

I picked upbeat. Yes I'm mad for about 30 seconds after realizing I have a losing ticket but then it's on to the next draw. Tell myself to keep at it and one day that mindset will be rewarded.

I couldn't pick any of the choices. Of course I'm a little disappointed when I lose, but.....I play jackpot games almost exclusively. That is, Tx 2 Step, Tx Lotto, MM, and PB. Obviously playing games with long odds means losing a lot more than winning even small prizes. So I don't get upset. It is what it is with those games. I came close twice winning a jackpot. Once in Ohio Lotto, and once in Tx Lotto. Hoping third time is the charm.

A lottery player will lose and probably have one of those feelings in the survey above or one of if not various other feelings not mentioned. I didn't sense anyone communicating a gambling problem. What I sensed were literal feelings - apathy, anger, sadness (real feelings).
