In many of my older software's I included a Game-Mode option where the user could
switch into historic mode. What this means is that with a click of the mouse the user
was taken back to a random point in time adjusting all the data as it would have been
before the actual drawing. The user then played against real data allowing them to
practice and build skills. Each time the game-mode button was clicked it would load a
different drawing date.
All of the tools I have offered here at LP require user analysis and correct choices to win. I
like to think that I provide the users with enough data's to come to some sort of solution
as to what to play in the next game. However when playing against random we must use
a different mindset when choosing our selections.
With this in mind we should not expect the best solution to show in the next drawing. The
idea is to learn how random works and then emulate it into our setups. It's a very hard thing
to learn to do but we must not approach the lottery with the same mindset that we use everyday
to function in society.
I have mentioned many times in the past that when I am in building a project I don't play lotto.
Programming requires disciplines in several fields which took many years to acquire. When I play
the lottery it's a mix of these disciplines adjusted to random-logic. My user name RandomLogic
is not a name so to say but a methodology.
Most people disciplined in the fields of mathematics make fun of people who pick their own numbers
as they know every set has a equal chance of showing in the next drawing. I agree with that 100%
but I also believe that over a series of draws certain mathematical rules come into play. While a JP win
will always be mostly chance, lower level prizes don't follow the same rules. When we can optimize
our plays using the known, we affect the probabilities of a JP win even though we may never hold a
winning ticket. Whenever I nail down a couple digits, filters, numbers etc, my overall chances are
greatly improved. These improved odds are often discarded by others as not going far enough but
considering the alternative, ie a QP, I am convinced I am in a better place.
