I wanted to know how many active users we have here that are using Lotsoft Pro 5.

That is users that are doing the "Live Updates" for Pick 3 and Pick 4 games.

I made some changes to the Pick 3 games and changed/added Pick 3 games.

If your updating these games you may have incorrect draws:

I bought it years ago. With all the changes etc. I can no longer use or update. I tried the procedure in your blog and it still isn't working. I have not used it in ages.

I did the procedure as listed in your message and it still cant find the data.mdb file.

Its in the folders but no dice.

I've been updating manually P4. We don't have P3 here in Atlantic Canada and the P4 only started about 50 draws ago. So as yet the program doesn't have enough info to work with. Also the P4 does not have all the features that the P3 has. The live updates don't work.

I added some missing Pick 4 games to Lotsoft Pro.

Step 1> Close Lotsoft Pro 5 if open

Step 2> Locate the "data" folder. Located normally at C:\Program Files\INW\Lotsoft\data\

Step 3> Create a new folder to backup the existing files in the data. Create a new sub folder and name it whatever you like. Example, BackupData.

Step 4> Copy and paste all the .mdb files (should be 10 of them) from the "data" folder to the new backup folder you created in Step 3 above.

Step 5>

I updated the Pick 4 games.

The new Atlantic Canada is added. You will need to manually update these draws for now.

Download the following P4.MDB file and save to the "data" folder of Lotsoft.

Step 6> Open Lotsoft Pro

Step 7> Click Pick 4

Step 8> You should now have most of if not all the Pick 4 games. The Atlantic Canada is AC (1st entry top left corner)

I got my registered copy. My desktop won't connect to the internet. Multiple dll problems. Computer crashed.

Drawings are updated through Sunday 3/18/2017

NOTE: Check your Pick 3 and Pick 4 draw histories for any errors/omissions. Or missing Pick 3 or Pick 4 game names.

I found missing draws from my Pennsylvania Pick 3 evening game back around 7/7/1999. I realize this is almost 19 years ago and not sure if anyone uses all their draw histories for their analysis.

Here is what I can remember before Ricky (Paurths) passed away. Lotsoft Pro when installed came pre-loaded with all the Pick 3 and Pick 4 draws. I can't remember the last date of the draws when installing Lotsoft for the 1st time. 2001??

Anyway check your Pick3/Pick 4 games for any missing draws or games.

If your proficient with either OpenOffice calc or Excel you can export the draw histories to either a notepad text file or to Excel.

I exported the draws to Notepad, copy and paste the draws to a new worksheet, then check for missing dates.

For those who have Pick 3/Pick 4 games that started before October 1, 2010 check for any missing draws before this date and let me know.
