  I only noticed when the tab was much more than I expected. The clerk apologized, explained he had been awake in the hospital for 2 days waiting for his son to be born, and exchanged the 5 for 1. Congratulations, Dad!

  Then I always think: what if that ticket had a winner?  The current PB jackpot of $79 million is not bad. Then again at 2 bucks a pop and astronomical odds, not worth it.

  Awhile back Redd, l will filling out a PB slip at the ticket stand, somehow the chaff from a scratch off ticket ended up on the "advance play" so instead of having to shell out  $4.00 for 2 lines, this Asian lady told me l * think l owed $16:00- l had no choice in the matter, l was on the hook. Ever since that day, l never fill out slips at those stands. I was later told that clerks can only cancel the ticket if it's a State Lottery game & not the multi State ones .Either way, lesson learned.
