I hear you loud and clear in PA ... I had some new ideas for 2015 on paper and in my head ... but I've already changed the game plan many times since Jan 1st ... wasn't going to play MM and PB anymore, then the head games start ... like "you can't win if you don't have a ticket" or "it only takes one ticket".
I will read about someone winning with just one QP and so forth. I had three MM tickets for Tue with the extra dollar and one $2 PB ticket for last night ... close on a few numbers but I never get one of those big fat cigars ... once in awhile through the year I hit for a few peanuts ... only getting one of those "cheap cigars" made out of floor scraps and sawdust!
So I am going back to my original 2015 game plan ... play the PA 6/49 game with 6 or 9 tickets and play the Treasure Hunt and Cash 5 only when the jackpot is higher ... no playing everyday with the "gotta have a ticket" thing.
My thoughts are to save the dollars from everyday play and then when the C5 or TH are somewhat higher then get 3 or 4 tickets that day ... no guarantee of a win but I will have more tickets going for a larger jackpot and who knows? ... I will have satisfaction that I'm playing for that larger jackpot and that might only happen a few times a month ... so a person is not really spending a lot that way but the reward can be greater.
The PA 6/49 game is the only game that I can win a little money on through the month ... last Monday I bought four tickets ($8) for the last four draws in Jan ($32 total) ... I won $14 so I have three more draws to go ... but I have been playing so many other games since Jan 1st with only a few dollars coming back.
I had planned in 2015 to not bother with MM and PB anymore ... I can easily forget PB but with the MM still only $1 to play ... I feel I have to play at least one big jackpot game ... like the young woman in your state that hit the MM last June ... she said she played $5 on the MM ... every drawing for five years ... I like the idea, it worked for her ... $45 a month, again no guarantee but it's something to try or think about.
I don't buy scratch offs anymore but a lot of people easily spend $45 a month on scratch offs, probably easily spend that in one day on those things ... put a game plan together... I guess Michigan probably has a 6/49 game, maybe that would be worth looking at.
If you might be close to Canada, maybe some of their games might be better ... and then like you said, you won more money at the casino last year ... maybe that's the way to go in 2015.
