Hi Pick3Guy,
Just too much to keep track of. The numbers do get cold but when the highest hitters are out 5-6 months or so, when I do watch I'll track/play those. USlottos site was good for the box analysis on how many hits/last time hit. I have a set of ten numbers I recently came up with that haven't hit, 5 include the #0, the others don't.
I also don't have the income I used to. I've had that instinct that said "get your tickets tonight" that paid off, but also I ignored it and my numbers came up. I like 789, it came up on a Saturday in June-I wanted to play that same day but didn't...it had been out over 6 months. I also had come up with some Pick 4 numbers recently-same thing-that same night, I should have played them-just 3 different numbers-but didn't stop & get tickets. A couple of weeks ago-6/23, 6384 hit, I could have had one or two hundred dollars.
I have Gail Howard's software for jackpot lotteries and other software to help with P3 and the other jackpot lotteries-good for the drawing histories. Back in 2011 I downloaded the 15 day free trial of Lotto Pro, gave it a spin and it did give winning P3 numbers the very first try, I think I'd set it for 6 or 10 tickets. You read testimonials and wonder if they are true, well I was very surprised. The following year (2012) during the summer is when I'd hit well with pick3-a few $40 & $80 hits, then a combo for $250 hit. The store that I usually get tickets from (the $250 win)-the owner was there, she seemed just as excited lol. I live in a small community, I don't think there are many Pick 3 players out here, I feel like I'm one of the few. But you look at the winning number payouts at our lottery website-people are definitely winning. I know in the city-like New Orleans, there was an older lady who would buy P3s, and a few of them combos. There are enough people out here who head to the casinos, though. I'm not one of them lol. Also, the card players that meet weekly for their games. I know the odds are better for P3 (&P4), and for .50c or $1 /ticket you are not out a whole lot and can spread your chances better for a win.
For the jackpot lotteries the odds are just way out there, I get to where I just say forget it. But then, someone will win so why not try? So sometimes I play birthday numbers and 1 quick pick of each, sometimes just a quick pick or two when I do play. Our pick 5 is just 37 numbers, no bonus, and our Lotto is just 6/40 numbers so not as bad as some of the other lotteries.
