Cousin and I went to Hard Rock and I won $1,000 on one of the slots!!! Whats better he won $6,450 !! I was playing $1 bets he was $25 that explains the big win. he has had a good few months i posted he won over $50 grand also.
So on the way to his house we stopped by Publix and split a roll of FMC. got back $720 !! there were 2 $200 winners
I probably lose it in the next few days lol but its nice to have a day with some big wins once in a while !!!

Congrats, James! Those slots are very addictive. A couple of times I cashed out modest profits, but I'd lose it back. Could have walked away with $30 more at the end, but kept trying and cold spins kept coming.
I won from the other machine at that Giant - Stacks of Cash won $10 on #052 and $20 on #051. The one machine produced its third Stacks of Cash loser of the day (#053.) So spent $30 tonight and got $30.
3 tickets Mustang #025 ($5), 026 (loser) , 027 (a wheel symbol with a stupid $5 win)
3 double dice ( 000 - $2) , 001 ( $4), 002 (free ticket) What the heck is up with that ??Sorry but its pathetic when the $1's have at least some hits compared to the other games....
Not playing the new games as I still have a winning streak going with the 7ups, been even on those with 7$ hits and a few 10$ hits.

I don't think you're missing much. Spent $40 at Giant today on new tickets, and got $5. $5 on new tickets - dreadful. Can they get worse than they were? It's always possible.
Got #020-023 Power 7s - #020 won $5
Both #005 and #006 Stacks of Cash lost. There will never be another Big Winner Spectacular it seems.

I'm still thinking of taking a longer break. I'm not announcing that at this time, but if I'm not posting, I'm probably on my break. Felt my blood pressure rising after those new tickets today and am pretty low in money anyway. If I had more faith in the PA Lottery, I'd tough it out.

I agree Matt..time to take a break..the PA lottery hasn't gotten any better..even on the new tickets. Like I said before, they took the fun out of them by 90 percent of the time you lose, or win the ticket price back. The most I have won on a ticket in the past week is $10 on a five dollar ticket..That is pathetic anymore, and again the places I buy them at the clerks are saying that everyone is getting frustrated anymore..
I allow myself a certain amt. of play money each week for the lottery, and it used to last me for weeks because of winning, well for the past year at least it has been nothing short of frustrating..Now by Wednesday you are out of your alloted money and NO more playing for a week or so...but I am thinking of not even playing anymore. It really isn't worth the frustration, aggravation and waste of money.
The days of spending $5-10 and winning $100 are over...now you have to spend $50 to win $5

anyone else agree?
That's exactly what happened yesterday - $50 to win $5. I bought Power 7s #030 and #031 later, and they both lost. Even when I win, it's almost always no more than double the ticket price. Just not fun, and it gets expensive. What do you think of maybe buying 1 ticket a month like your husband does? He's had a couple good ones that way. The Lottery has gotten to the point where maybe you just have to hope a ticket or two win big. Lots of money gets given to the state otherwise.

I guess I can't make heads or tails out of it. Is it bad luck, wrong timing, trying too hard..how can 1 person who hardly ever plays win $1000 twice(hubby)..and look at the latest winner on the lottery website..she hardly ever plays and won the $1000 a week for life..I'm happy for her, and I'm so happy that my husband won too..but why can't we...do we want it too much..
I know I'm sounding like a sore loser here..but I just think how many tickets I have done, and you Matt, and everyone else on here..and NO big winners..
Maybe it doesn't pay to buy many tickets..or whole rolls..I guess it really does come down to the right place at the right time..and the right ticket..doesn't matter if you spend $5, $2 or $2000....if the ticket isn't in that batch then it isn't in that batch...or in our area..
I'm not looking to get rich off the lottery, but I'm also not looking to make the lottery rich..which is what I feel I'm doing...

I've been trying to be positive for a long time. But I don't think we can all be wrong. If it was just me, I'd think it was my timing/luck. But even the clerks at Giant seem to silently agree when I complain about the games. These are clerks who play. The winners have to be out there, but I don't think spending lots of money will improve chances much. Something just feels very different than before. Even the $2 games, which pretty regularly used to pay at least $10, don't very often now.
