I enjoy playing video slots from time to time here in Oklahoma at the Indian Casinos.
Here's a story my wife relayed to me while she was playing video slots the other day.
A young man sat down a few machines down from my wife.
From the denomination window, he selected 10 cents as the credit value.
The choices were 1 cent, 2 cents, 5 cents and 10 cents.
He started feeding 100 dollar bills into the machine.
He hit the max bet button which made each spin cost 50 dollars!
He jackpotted 6 times in less than an hour.
Each time he hit a jackpot, the red light on top of the machine came on
and a casino attendant had to come over and insert a key to reset the machine.
A cashier also came over and paid him right there at the machine.
He went away with just over $10,000
I have no idea what he spent to get that much. Maybe as much as 3 or 4 thousand?
The attendant told my wife he comes in often and sometimes he wins and sometimes he doesn't.
He only plays two machines in the casino. IGT's Aztec Pyramids
I stick with the IGT video slots and move to another one if I feel it's not paying.
I try to avoid any sort of rythmn when hitting the spin button each time.
The machines are usually going to take 5 or 6 steps forward in the casino's favor and one step back
in the player's favor - up until it's time for it to pay off the player.
It is said that there is a RNG supposedly deciding the outcome of each spin, I believe this to be
a false notion. A 15 million dollar casino will not stake their business on a pure random outcome game.
It may look random and there may be RNG's running in the background of a machine, but the manufacturer
of a video slot machine can guarantee the casino a profit margin over a span of dollars inserted and that's not
a random calculation.
I take small profits then move on to another machine. Also, Blackjack has been fair to me as long as I don't stay at the
table too long.
If you have any cool stories or tips to share, I would like to hear them.
