Thanx, I enjoyed it very much.
Three good posts, sort of like a winning trifecta...LOL
I want to say something about all of this because there may be, or not, some merit to what I'm about to say.
I've seen this guy above before and he is definitely great. I've also seen another guy, Chris Angel. He is just as impressive. He did a feat of walking up the side of a 20 story building, to the top and walking back down. He walked as if walking down the street, upright.
The reason I bring this up, is two fold.
I know trickery is trickery, and as David Copperfield is among them, somehow I have a very strong gut feeling that maybe one of them or all have been chosen by a higher power, whether it be a UFO technology that has been given to a single or few persons, or of some spiritual essence.
Sleight of hand is one thing. Smoke and mirrors is another. Glue, strings, and all sorts of gadgetry is used and Is not that impressive. But when I saw a guy walk through a store front window, I had to ask myself this question. Is there something more to this than we're being allowed to know, more than trickery?
You maybe saying that I'm gullible and easily entertained. I don't blame you if you are.
You might also say that ESP and other pheononemon is equally just coincidence, and I won't blame you if you do.
The reason I believe something is not being revealed to us and that it's more than just trickery is because of the following. I've never told this story here at the LP because I know that Todd would say that I'm on drugs and that I need serious help. LOL>>>>>
But I think the time now is appropriate, considering the genre.
When I was around 11 years old, I attended one of my sister's baby sitting nights at a friend of my dad's. My sister frequently baby sat this 8 year old boy named Kevin.
Kevin was notorious for knowing when his dad was going to call ahead of time. Also what other people were going to do or say. It was pretty well known among the immediate family and friends that Kevin was gifted. Strangely what happened on this one particular night when I was at the apartment in Queens, NY that night attending the baby sitting , was the icing on the cake. To say the least, It changed my whole perspective regarding the paranormal.
I witnessed Kevin and my sister looking out of the second story window, down on to the street. I was standing right behind them.
A taxi driver had just dropped off his passenger and started driving to the end of the street. At the stop sign the driver had only one option. He had to make a right turn because it was a one-way street, to his right. About that time, I watched as little Kevin non-chalantly looked at my sister and said the following.
" I wish that taxi would come here", Kevin said.....
I remember my sister and I were laughing, like yeah right, thinking the kid has a good imagination and explaining how that was impposible.
As the taxi driver approached the stop sign at the end of the one -way street, he made a left turn instead of a right turn like he's supposed to, going down the wrong way of the street and stopped directly in front of the apartment building we were looking from. He got out of his car and looked straight at us, sort of like in a trance or gaze, maybe 3 or 4 seconds long as if he saw a ghost, ran back into his cab and raced away like a bat out of hell.
Once in a while I'll remind my sister of that moment in time, if we're already talking about a similar subject.
It was truly a scary moment, especially for an 11 year old boy such as I was then.
If I remember correctly, I was shocked, but also somewhat privvy to this, because of an incident I had with ESP a couple of years earlier, however nowhere as near as uncanny like little Kevin's.
