You Are correct WIN D.. And I played 709 today for my girlfriend That was her Dad's Badge Number. He was Killed jan 10,1984 And Yesterday In Georgia they dedicated part of I-95 In His honor..
GSP Trooper Ronnie O’Neal’s widow, Meryl O’Neal, hugs granddaughter Brooke DeLoach. The O’Neals’ daughter, Beverly Pirkle, and another granddaughter, Jennifer, look on at Thursday’s dedication.
"He missed many of the milestones of our lives," Dawn O'Neal DeLoach said of her father, "but at times the void is lifted and this is one of those times." She was speaking at a ceremony Thursday morning that dedicated a portion of I-95 as Fallen Troopers Highway and an overpass south of Riceboro as Trooper First Class Ronnie O'Neal Overpass. Georgia State Patrol Trooper O'Neal died in the line of duty on Jan. 10, 1984, when his patrol car collided with a vehicle that he and other officers were chasing. It happened on the interstate near the overpass on Sandy Run/Retreat Road
