Just to play devil's advocate, if nobody saw her burying the body, or signs of recent digging or disturbance it would also be possible for the real killer to have buried the body without anybody knowing, including her if she was elsewhere for a while. Everyone is entitled to due process. I personally believe she is guilty based on what we already know. She took advantage of a man who wanted to help others too much and his lack of education made it easy to do so. I think he figured it out and when he confronted her that was the end of his life. Even if she does get a new trial, I agree her conviction will stand. The only downside to that is she'll just keep rotting in prison and not get sent to Death Row where she belongs.

Folks are always playing that number, have been at least since I got here in 2013. I had never heard of it before then. I tried to research it way back when and couldn't find much. Gamblers like us are generally superstitious, because what we do depends on chance. Hence we have things like the Death Number and the Dead Man's Hand in poker and so on...
