the mannequins at the department store i used to work at had a lottery pool. they invited me to join but the buy in was too high. would have cost me an arm and a leg at my wages.

I can see that perspective, trying to find better chances of winning. I just don't look at the lottery conceptually like that. I play to have a shot at massive wealth, or if I want to have better chances of winning a smaller prize, then I play a different game. The mathematics of it does not favor one or the other, but a pool does eliminate the possibility of multi-generational wealth.

Well, that's debatable. Personally, I don't believe the best way to get into any lottery drawing is with a group. The draw of the lottery, especially a game like Powerball, is winning a massive pile of life-changing cash. Getting into a group with perhaps dozens of others takes away the risk/reward ratio that Powerball offers. Really, if I wanted to have better odds of winning a smaller prize (think less than $5 million), I would play my in-state Cash 5 game. I don't need to worry about the

Sum means when you add the combo up to get a total...the best range from the pool, would be 9 through 16...been this way for last 2 years...I only play the triples when I see a bunch of SERIES,REPEATS, OR MIRROR CONSECUTIVE combos thats falling back to back, over a course of 5 straight days...sometimes Tenn will give you the clue...so watch them as TX and TN shares same clues within a day or two apart,

I was never good at picking repeats, and most times I only try to figure the repeats when I know I dont see a lot of due numbers out. The low game numbers out, when they hit en masse(like repeats), help push UP the due number pool. Its kinda like that Bells curve theory, everything swings back and forth, high then low, up then down, etc

I totally agree with you. But on the math side, if they contribute $2 each per drawing. That's 30 tickets a drawing and 90 tickets a week. If you played $180 every week as an individual, that's $9360 every year on PB. Not sure if they also play MM. So that's where the pool comes handy.
