Hey jada ive cut back too even though the last few days ive bought a lot of tickets. for my gambling addiction i just go to the casino now or do sports betting. the odds are much better and the beauty about it is the money is right there waiting to be won 50% chance of winning basically. ive really wanted to make a large bet to 'double up' but dont have the guts yet. good luck with the numbers.

Ive been thinking of putting down $10K in sports betting on a 1.3 favorite. Would net a $3K profit and erase all my lotto debts if I win.

Maybe our area is cold, though every store I walk in has big winners posted of recent games. I was def excited about my roll. I think if I had a $50/$100 and still only got 1/2 back I would have been less dejected. Be nice if there could be some Gas Out type thing for scratch offs. Maybe the states would get the hint about the crappy odds and ripoff. I know gambling is gambling, but it has to be the worse with scratchoffs. You dont have to be in the right place with daily #'s/cash5/powerball/etc

Maybe you'll make up for it on sports betting. That was another nice win you had! Congrats. I got another $24 win on Winner Take All #018, so today wasn't bad for what I put in. Got a HOT on Hot $100,000 #039, but it doubled $5 yet again. My 2 Birthday Cashes (#047, 048) lost - played them because it's my late grandmother's birthday. #092 Goldbar Crossword won $5.

James. I could buy every ticket left in PA and still not find a Grand Prize. That is just my luck. :) Did the sports betting before. Thats alittle more dangerous,since you play with imaginary money until it is time to pay

AND, with the odds stacked as they are, is there really any better odds in the cards that charge 10, 20 or 30 dollars? Sure the top prizes are bigger, but that's just the lure. I suspect they cannot possibly offer better odds because the same restriction of where the physical winning cards are is the same. You do not have access to pick any one of every card in a given game. This question I can never get answered by anyone that answers any official lottery contact number in NY, NJ, or Pennsylvan

James. Glad you got to see that side of it, as it helps us as well. Sometimes we get in that mindset that the winner has to be next. Well store A might not even have anything worth noting. Of all bets I can think of, instant lottery is the thing that is most out of our hands and the worse odds. I always play with fun money, but since finding this site, I have seemed to play alot more(of course I had more spare cash also). I am def cutting back. I want scratch offs to be fun again, not depressing

Done with the scratchers! Wow, James I don't know what to tell you about the sports betting, that sounds like a large amount of money for a shot at just $15k...once and done. Personally, I'd take it and go a few $20's at a time in instants from different stores..... it would last much longer too. I'd steer clear of the pack tactic and go singles 2 - 3 at a shot from different places. I know you said you're done but maybe you can be done with the pack method. Good luck with

PA Tickets have become a joke. If you don't buy tickets from the first 1-2 thousand books you will struggle to find winners. I played some of the new $30 tickets and have done half decent. Bought 6-7 tickets with 2 $100 winners and 3 $50's. Again all from low number books. As soon as the books get into the 20K range the tickets go cold. Also take notice of the odds that creep up each time a new game is released. $3MM Extreme Green had an overall odds of winning at 1:2.76. $3MM Spectacular
