Make that the last two number 1 seeds bites the dust because both Houston and Alabama lost. This is the first time in tournament history when none of the number 1 seeds were in the elite 8. Sweet Sixteen and perfect bracket busting!
Even though Purdue was only the second one seed in tournament history to lose in the first round, the last perfect bracket out of 20 million lost before the outcome of that game. It's difficult enough picking the Sweet Sixteen much correctly picking 67 50/50 outcomes necessary to get a perfect bracket.
