  I am a big fan of systems that eliminate numbers and leave you with a few numbers to pick from. I found out that, in most pick 5 lotteries, one can actually split the numbers between 2 groups:

  1 to 21 and 15 to 35 (Massachusetts cash 5 has 35 numbers to pick from)

  This system work 70 to 90% of the time in massachusetts.

  What system did you use to come up with your 17 numbers and would that system work for any pick 5 lottery?
