Genie, I'm still testing your system and here is what I've come up with so far. I backetested for 100 drawings (50 days) in the NJ Pick 3 game. Believe me yhat is a lot of writing to do. Your system produced 55 hits in 100 draws. 15 were straight hits. 40 were box hits (not counting the 15 boxes that were included in the straight hits). 23 hits came up within 5 plays or less (2.5 days). 11 hits in 6-10 plays (3-5 days). 11 hits in 11-15 plays (5.5-7.5 days). And 10 hits in 16-20 plays (8-10 days)
33 hits resulted in a profit. 18 hits resulted in an oveall loss. And 2 broke even.
There were 45 no hit plays.(No hits in 10 days). In the 100 draws, the longest dry spell was 5 numbers in a row that did not produce any hits. And some numbers produced a hit on the very next play! So the question becomes WHEN do you play? Theoretically you could take tonights number and play it for 10 days at the cost of $120 total and not hit a thing. But tomorrow's midday number might produce a winner in 2 or 3 plays. Another thing is that playing for 10 days will almost definitely cause a loss if you dont get a hit in the first few plays. Average box payout in NJ is around $42. So if you are playing a 12 number combination box only both midday and evening ($6 per draw), you will be operating at a loss if you don't hit in the first 3-4 draws. If that's the case, should you switch your play to straight only and hope it hits in the remaining 6 days? Only then would you show a profit if it came in straight.
Another idea might be to look back at some combinations that have gone 15-16 plays without hitting and jump on the next 3-4 plays in hopes of catching a hit late in the 10 day cycle. Any thoughts?
