that makes sense. I tried it tonight for our Mass Pick4..didn't get much. I got a number here and a number there...our pick 3 is inside the Pick4 (weird, I know!!), is it worth trying it on the Pick 4, Pinback? Thanks and good luck to All!
Nope, I don't think it's useful for Pick 4 (and it's always pointless to play Pick 4 straight... odds are too bad). I've started using VersaBet Three-Four to box Pick 4. I ran a test with it against a bunch of past drawings and I was shocked by how much it hit boxed Pick 4's. I bought it, so now it better keep it up! <g>
I have no idea what Lotto Sorcerer is doing internally, but the guy who wrote it is on to something. I also own it's bigger brother for the big prize games. Mega Millions and Super Lotto are pointless, because the odds are so bad that no amount of statistical analysis can make any real difference. But with Buckeye 5 ($100,000 top prize) I saw real results. Over the couple of months I played there were only three or four drawings where I didn't win anything. The rest of them I would win anywhere from $2 to $30 (my top win in one drawing was $57). While always getting something back helped pay for playing, but wasn't the reason I was playing.
That's why I switched to Pick 3 for straight bets (best odds) and Pick 4 for boxed bets (with some Pick 3 boxed bets thrown in now and then for fun). The idea is to pay what it costs to play with the boxed bets, and see how many $500 straights I can manage to win.
So to summarize, the way I bet is $10 straight for each Pick 3 (two Ohio Pick 3 games a day, six days a week) with Lotto Sorcerer, then however much VersaBet tells me to play for boxed Pick 4 (two Ohio Pick 4 games a day also). I also throw in some VersaBet boxed Pick 3's when I feel like it. And I'll bet like this as long as I feel it's worth doing!
Good luck!
