  Like you, a lot of us want to win the Big one and don't waste time with the pick3/4 games, but there got to be a lot of losers for those jackpots to grow big. I got lucky last month and matched 5 of 6 for $1500 in Ohio lottery which put me ahead for the year $700, but at the rate I'm going, I'll be in the hole again before the year is out and won't have to pay taxes on those winnings. A year ago there were a lot more posters interested in the pick5/6 games, but lately this forum have become more like Maybell pick3/4 forum, however there are still some who post ideas for playing the Big games, you just got to look for them. I've read a lot theroies, but none of them have made me a winner yet. Mean while, I'll keep posting and reading and hope to get lucky. Remember, you aren't the only one that haven't won the big one.

  The first US lotto game where players could choose cash or annuity was Oregon Megabucks in 1990. The NY Lotto cash option wasn't until 1996.

  Glen sounds to me like you are trying to hard, especially if your starting to let your emotions take over.
  Try taking a break, we sometimes read to much into systems, and we often try to hard, remember just because they draw every week doesn't mean we half to play.
  One thing I would like to share with you is, when you were bashing the smaller games,
  Ask your self this, if you can not hit the the small game like the pick 3, how can you expect to work a system that will hit the big ones. We half to learn to crawl before we can walk.
  One nice thing about the smaller games is this, if we learn to hit them on a regular basis, and we are making a profit we can use the lottery's money to invest in hitting the bigger games, that is why the smaller games and there postings are so important.
  Try something like this,
  Lets say you have 20 dollars to spend, split it in half, half on your big games half on your small game, if you hit the small game, now you have x amount to put on the big game, giving you a little more of a edge on winning.

  Thanks for the correction I wasn't aware of that I figured since NY had a lottery for such a long time they probably had the option before a lot of other states.

  NY Lotto was the first lotto game on the east coast to allow players to choose lump sum. All US lottery jackpot games now allow players to choose cash EXCEPT the 6/42 and 6/49 games in Massachusetts.
