Right... where to begin.
Hyperdimension posted a link to an article in another post here called
how could the computer find patterns in a lottery?
I'm not allowed to do links so go find it and have a look.
I reply posted to him there but include a copy here for anyone's interest.
Essentially what I read in the article that HD linked completely parallels to my methods and approach, I'm no mathematics pro so have a lot to learn about what they are developing and to draw from their prior efforts and knowledge.
But what this does tell me in no uncertain terms and in a way that I have struggled to fully understand and define is that I have found something. It tells me that my latest approach and method is sound and that I need to continue to refine it and at the same time keep trying new things.
It has been a long journey for me, near on 12 years of crunching numbers and frustration, and I'm a little miffed that an AI can do what I have been struggling to do in one pass. Still also excited by the potential of this.
Truth be told I do not think that I will ever finish my method before someone with a BIG math brain actually solves it. They are simply in a better place with a deeper understanding and better tools to do so. In fact I'd be surprise if a group of math nerds where not holed up in a mum and dad's basement somewhere ready to hit the world as the next Bill Gates or Steve Jobs.
Post copy below.....
To all the nay sayers............ whatever.
Whoa HD that's my map
MIND BLOWN !!!!!!
It's like I'm tracking a dynamic fire front and predicting the next flare up.
You gotta read the post I just put up under my original post. I'm doing exactly what those 4 math boffins have described, but dang i feel like an amateur compared to their methods.
This rang a big bell for me:
"The Lyapunov time represents how long it takes for two almost-identical states of a chaotic system to exponentially diverge. As such, it typically sets the horizon of predictability."
"in many cases, the equations describing a chaotic system aren’t known, crippling dynamicists’ efforts to model and predict them."
EXACTLY !!!!!!! WOW!!!! What I have said all along, it's dynamic and I have been fortunate enough to hook into an element of it, and at the same time dumb enough to not fully comprehend the rest of it. Man alive I'm such a math retard (I know bad politically incorrect word used) .
"Pathak said. Locality means variables in one place are influenced by variables at nearby places but not by places far away. " BINGO!!! or in this case LOTTO!!
Again exactly what I do, the dynamic variable varies within the surrounding and most recent variables, I know sounds wacked hey, but WOW.
"Parallelization allows the reservoir computing approach to handle chaotic systems of almost any size, as long as proportionate computer resources are dedicated to the task."
Hence my poor little laptop dies everytime I run my calcs.
This article also confirms my past comments that NN or AI will be able to achieve nothing unless it is fed the right data in to analyse. The right data is not the raw numbers, it is a derivative of the raw data that represents something entirely different.
HD YOU ARE A LEGEND FOR FINDING AND POSTING THIS UP !!!!!
MY SINCEREST AND MOST HUMBLE THANKS FOR SHARING.
