I have noticed that the stores that always get the big jackpot winners are gas stations. Gas stations of all names from shell, Exxon, chevron, Valero, but no Phillip 66. Behind gas stations I would say I've seen a lot of H.E.B stores hit a lot as well unfortunately I don't shop there, I have been there just to buy tickets. I've seen krogers win once, the one next to where I used to live and I've never seen Randall's win. Speaking of gas stations, it's always the ones that are 200+ miles away from the big city out in the small rural town. Just think about it, the lottery companies are there to make money. They know exactly which stores make the most sales from scratch tickets. Who plays the most? Lower income families in the inner city neighborhoods. Where do the lottery sell most their tickets? In the big city, stores that are next to the freeway or at an intersection. Why? Because billions and trillions of cars pass by there everyday, while they stop for gas, people will also go in and buy some tickets. So the lottery companies will not hide the big jackpots there, they will hide them 200+ miles away from the big city in a small rural gas station at the street with the dead end that gets slow lottery sales. So next time you're in the big city, inside the city limits or in or near downtown, forget about buying tickets, just save your money because you're not going to win there. Don't get me wrong, I've seen stores in the big city and next to freeway hit but it's rare.
