I work part-time. But since the Lottery Gods haven't blessed me yet, I am now looking for a full-time job since we need to save for college and retirement -which is scarey closer than we think!

I work at the factory that builds the Chevy Sonic and Buick Verano. Thanks to those that have bought or leased one!!!

I will quit playing the lottery, as soon as I break even.

I,too, journeyed as a CNC programmer for many years (Punch press and double turrent lathe). My main job was to close factories. I have worked in six factories over the last 40 years. Each one closed up shop after I was hired. Anybody have a factory they want gone? I have a lots of experience in that area.

I worked for Cabot's machine division for about six months, running huge lathes that turned gun barrels for tanks and ships and drill collars for the drilling industry. A friend was working on a lathe about a hundred feet away and was hurrying to clean up right before quitting time b/c he and I were going to a party as soon as we got off work. He was wearing a long sleeved shirt not tucked in and it got wrapped up in the spinning fast travel bar (think it was called, that's been decades ago) and messed him up big-time. That was one of the major influences in my decision to quit and go work on drilling rigs; they were dangerous too, but paid more.

I like the smell of machine shops - the cutting oil, the freshly cut steel and the ozone of the electric motors. I'm weird, I know.

Funny thought just crossed through my mind:- l recall my Dad watching this one movie awhile ago and someone said " l love the smell of Napalm in the morning"..He always got a chuckle out of that line. .* Don't recall the title of the movie though.
