You mean buying tickets online? Cause we can already do that in some states. NC just started last year

There are ways to do it somehow....It's a fantasy of mine to play any states lottery and actually get paid in a timely manner.

Boy wouldn't that  be cool.

However I don't think they would have a 25 cent bet option.

I have no desire to purchase my lottery tickets online.  I like to control when and where I buy them and to have them in my hand.

Well, it is illegal, but I think when Congress figures out how much tax they are missing by not letting us bet on line, it will change in a heartbeat!!

Weed is the problem? Really?

Alcohol is legal, and it kills more people every year (about 50,000) than ALL the drugs combined. I haven't heard of ONE person dying from smoking weed.

This illogical propaganda being taught throughout the decades is nothing more than Ignorance and Hypocrisy at it's best.

So you would rather get taxed on something you're doing online than not paying any tax on now?

It will be a great thing to buy tickets online. Ohio Classic Lotto would have been hit ages ago by a guy in Massachusetts Thumbs Up if online sales were on. I know I wouldn't play the MM & PB games if I could play other states lotto games.

Since I can't do it now, yes.  I would be willing to pay tax on it, if they would allow on-line betting.

Horse racing went to off-track betting several years ago so betting on an event in another state is nothing new. It's the same as online betting so race tracks offered online betting for years too. Online wagering residence requirements may vary from state to state, but players are wagering on horse races all over the world every day from their home PC, from a laptop, tablet, or I-phone anywhere.

Lottery wagering is different because not one state lottery offered wagering on lottery games in other states. We can purchase MM and PB ticket in other states using the same drawing with the same payoffs as our state, but we can only cash those out-of-state tickets in the state that printed them. Eventually the state lotteries that now provide some type of online wagering will offer wagering on all their online games.

We can only guess if someday betting from any state on any lottery game in another state will be legal.
