Yes I think that a person's numbers can show up any year, if you like them keep playing them!"

Yes, I too have been playing my own set of numbers for MM and PB for many, many years.  It's hard to say if they will ever come out, but just in case, keep playing them.  May-be add a quick pick and a set of numbers that change every week.

The an archived thread about playing the same numbers until they hit.........someone said it takes 483 years, so good luck.

Pack, don't quit now, your numbers will jump out.  Bang Head  Why not spend an extra dollar and buy a quick pick? Smash

I've been playing Louisiana Lotto with both a set of numbers I play each drawing and a quick pick.  Louisiana Lotto is 6/40 matrix and must match at least 3 to win a lower tier prize. A couple of months ago I got curious to find out if picking my own numbers and playing the same numbers each time would increase my chances of winning something, so I started tracking the results of both tickets in terms of how many numbers matched.

Over the last 21 drawings, the self pick matched an average of .90 numbers/per draw while the quick picks matched .95 numbers/draw. The median of numbers matched was 1 for both quick picks and self picked tickets. The self pick matched 0 numbers the most, while the quick picks matched 1 number most often. Neither have matched 3 as of yet.

In my particular case, it doesn't seem to make much difference whether I pick a set and play it over every drawing or just do a different quick pick every time.

Here are the actual results if anyone is interested.

We have many stories of players in the LP news section who finally hit after years of playing same set of numbers. But I am sure those are a small fraction of the est. 30% who don't play quickpics.  After 28 years I would give up. Whichever way you decide, good luckThumbs Up

I play a set devoted to my family birthdays, not much in the way of winning, but ya never know.
