I'm not sure either way, but I'm waiting for the "How come when somebody in a western state besides California does win it's someone from the east coast passing through?" thread.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

If he is faking, people are going to have to start wondering about people from Maryland. We will have to name some new psychosis that strikes when the Jackpot is over 1/2 billion and causes a unreasonable belief that you won the lottery. Both he and Mirlande captured ongoing worldwide attention and his video was the lead story on then DC area news tonight. I am wondering now if this will trigger another round of bizarre claims by Mirlande.

Not hard for the store owners to be in on it.. i mean it would bring free publicity to the store. However, I think he may be real but who knows.

Some news program did an interview with the clerk at the store that sold the ticket. She said it's a truck stop, so it could easily be a truck driver or someone just passing through. So I tend to believe the guy in MD is for realz.

BUT... it may not be the jackpot, It could be a small big win for him....

If you just won 100k or a Million you may react the same way....

Anyone can walk in the next day and buy a ticket with those numbers on it..........

The question should be, did the clerk run it through the terminal or just LOOK at it......?????
