Where would you like to see lottery tickets sold where they are not now sold in your area?

Some of these lately are news to me, the laundromat and some other places.

Around here it's mostly groceries, covenience stores with gas pumps, , liquor stores and smoke shops.

One time we wwre in Terre Haute, Indiana and stopped in a diner to eat and they had lotto, that was pretty neat.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

In PA i bought tickets at a dry cleaners store.

Here in Somerset 2 miles from us they have a Tobaccio Barn the size of a shoebox who sold a 200,000.00 [owerball ticket last weds..Had no idea they even sold lottery tickets there it's so small..

Well, Pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens although they are sold in independent pharmacies here in FL. The weirdest place I've ever seen a lotto machine is in an insurance agency. Some laundromats here sell lotto tickets too.

I once spent two bucks on a couple of QPs at the local Seafood restaurant. I gave the cashier 5 bucks and she only gave me 2 dollars back. I told her and she corrected herself. I knew there was something fishy going on there but I didn't say anything and clammed up. Afterall I did shell out a lot of money for the meal. But for the most part the evening went well, and we had a whale of a time.

If I ever win the JP from a ticket at that restaurant, I may go back and share some of the money I won because I'm generous , and don't consider myself a shellfish person.

The SANDS CASINO RESORT BETHLEHEM sells

lottery tickets out of machines ... 24/7 ~ 365.

Lottery machines next to ATM machines would be convenient.

Just avoid the temptation to buy more than your budget allows!

Well the lady in idaho who won the Mega Millions won at a carwash. I think although I'm not 100% sure that a carwash here in FL sells tickets too.

Never thought aboout it, but Hair Salons and Barber Shops would be IDEAL, but never seen them in there!

I can't think of any unusual places where lottery tickets are sold around here. I like to buy them in this little discount cigarette store, though I don't smoke. I don't like to buy in them in grocery stores, because you have to provide your driver's license to buy scratch offs from a machine or wait for someone to go into the manager's office to purchase tickets. However, it was a grocery store where I had my best win to date, so I guess I shouldn't complain. The local birdseed store would be an interesting place to buy tickets. I feel sorry for them, they don't get much business and I'm sure the lottery would boost their customer base.

Bars would make a killing. Then the cops would offer a free lottery ticket with every DUI.

Naturally I live in a dry county.

Why not post offices and let the postal service get a piece of the action - instead of closing many of them.
