That's right Rosie and I'll tell you what we need: legal contracts.
When a politician running for office makes a campaign promise it should be entered on a contract and signed by the politician. If he or she then breaks that promise while in office (like Obama just did by allowing the allocation of funds for federally funded abortions when he promised he wouldn't and even signed an executive order saying he wouldn't), they should be thrown out of office.
Where's that Charlie Stupak group of so-called blue dog democrats now that believed Obama would keep his word on that?
Hmmm... all I hear is crickets.

I don't know if you two are talking about the same thing but that was funny.
Thanx to you and Tiggs. I am so glad you guys decided to join the LP......
You guys should get together and you'd make millions. I can spot talent a mile away. I mean it. This is how stuff like this starts, and becomes big....A good example is Larry the Cable Guy....I'm sure before his success, he was saying stuff to his friends, and it spread like wildfire.
If you don't want to go public, just get together and compose something you think might be interesting, and put in a blog. There's more money there too.

Having a hard time making sense out of anything you're saying here (maybe I need to be drunk too) but one thing stands out like a sore thumb.
Al Gore is an unmitigated liar. His movie is an unmitigated hoax and a fraud. And he allows no one to question him on it. If he says that Polar Bears are going extinct when studies show that there are more Polar Bears than ever before, you had better not disagree. He doesn't allow dissent with his claims.
And just because he recently spent millions and millions on a huge seaside mansion (for one person, himself) doesn't mean the coastlines aren't going to be swallowed up by the oceans just like he said.
And pay no attention to his mansion in Tennessee using 17 times the electricity of everybody else in the state, just make sure to turn off those lights when you leave the room. Maybe you could have him fly out to the coast in his private jet and lecture you on how to conserve fuel sometime. (Make sure you have a young female massage therapist on call around midnight)
People in Tennessee know Al Gore better than anybody and that's why he couldn't carry his own state in the presidential election. He's an incorrigible liar.
You might as well quote Alice in Wonderland to me as Gore's Inconvenient Truth because they're both Fairy Tales.
And that pack of lies and crap is being force-fed to our kids in school.
I understand your confusion.
Ridge, I am not supporting Gore. His Nobel came on the heels of G.H.W.B.'s NWO statement in the same year the USA got involved in UN sponsored global climate issues. Same time BTW, Hughs CoRp. filed and was granted a patent for an air-born deterrent to global warming.
Gore has been globetrotting pushing the climate button and where does it lead to? UN climate tax: Carbon tax.
The climate is manipulated, the crops are manipulated and the world population safety is the issue. Gore points it out big as day but does not come out and say "something has to give if we, the world's population is to survive. Either climate or population." What do you think the masses will favor, given the choice?
The climate/carbon tax is the goal. Being that we are past the normal sustainable population without GM foods, any crisis (like climate) is the trigger to more global govenment (to feed everyone).
At some point the "save the planet, save us" mantra will open the doors to the tax that will insure every living soul is aligned with the plan. Every transaction, every product, every service.
I was not drunk when I wrote that,... you see conflict but do not see the design for more government- at the loss of ours. You should watch that film, not to love/support Gore, but to know your enemy.
The globalists use crisis or chaos to define and establish new order. The globalists are on both sides of the isle, you only see good cop/bad cop and take sides. You likely have taken sides on the climate issue as you are expected to. The climate has been modified INTERNATIONALLY for over a decade. (Who do you think has odered replacement tanker fleets that has international flight authoriztion?) The results? Chaos. The solution? Well that all depends if you are inside the box or outside the box.
The solution for the population/climate by the designers of the conflict is new order.
It will never be in the news directly. You only hear of the news that supports the conclusion everyone will agree with.
Caesar’s murderers were mostly pawns to implement new political order. Very zealous and of strong convictions. How's your Latin? Look on the back of a dollar. The motto has been there all your life. What is in plain sight is also hidden.
Most are drunk and oblivious to what is happening while we focus on the news distractions of the day. This work has the patience of generations and not the short-term attention disorder of the masses. God help us? Why? This is what will happen as it is written.

I'd like to know the answer to that too but whenever the question is asked, I get told to leave it in the past. All this politic stuff just makes me ill because both parties use sneaky, unethical tactics to manipulate people. Or maybe some people just choose to see and believe what they want. You could argue valid points with people until your blue in the face but unless people take off their blinders and start to think with an open mind, there is no point. Personally speaking, I'd like to know what are some solutions??? What about some solutions to how we can stop borrowing money from China??? Aren't they helping us finance the war. The war where we thought we were going to get oil in Iraq and make money out the deal. Why are we still over there. Why isn't anyone protesting the fact that all the money spent on war could have been spent towards revitalizing our economy. Why isn't anyone complaining about how China is doing things to drive down the value of the dollar, however, I haven't seen any huge protests on that. One of my favorite quotes is from the movie" The usual suspects" and it says, " The biggest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist".

Immigration status is a hot debate in this country. It varies from state to state, but many states do not have laws against illegal aliens claiming lottery prizes. Here in California an illegal immigrant collected a $2,000,000 prize and two days later was deported to Mexico, with his money. In North Carolina, lawmakers are trying to put into place a ban against undocumented people collecting prizes, whereas in South Carolina such a law already exists. Keep in mind that a common lottery scam is people giving money to a person who claims to not be able claim a lottery prize b/c they are illegal. Folks purchase the winning ticket off of them to find out that the ticket is fake or has no prize to claim. I'm not defending the intelligence of the victim in these cases, but it does happen.
My thought is that if you can purchase the ticket you should be able to collect the prize. The money spent still goes to state and education funds that the state puts towards them. So, regardless of who you are - if you can buy you can win.
What are your thoughts?
If they are allowed to play, they should be allowed to collect their wins. If illegals are not allowed to collect, eligibility requirements should be posted in every lottery website and in all their ads.
I visited the CA lottery's website, there were no guidelines as to who may buy lotto tickets and scratch-offs, except for the age requirement of at least 18 years. For other games with prizes at stake like TV game/reality shows, only those who are here legally are allowed to audition.

You're missing the point the same way as everybody who takes your position, Jack Pot.
The point is this: They are not supposed to be here in the first place.
You do not get the keys to the city just because you were successful in evading the Border Patrol.
Is there a written law prohibiting them from playing and winning, you ask?
Probably not but let me ask you this:
If a strange man sneaks in the back door of your house, is it then ok for him to sit down and have dinner with your family just because he's already there?
Why not? There's no law that says people can't have dinner at your house, is there?

If your here illegally, than playing is illegal. period! what do we have to do now spend money making signs that say this is for legals only, its a given that the people playing are legal.
