Xander, born at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is the eighth grandchild for his mother's parents. And he's not the only one in his family with an unusual birthday: His 2-year-old brother, Kael, was born on 4/5/06.

"I just might," he said. "If nothing else, with four children I should probably play the lottery."

My niece had a baby today 8/8/08.

Congratulations are in order for Clay Aiken! His first child, a boy, was born Friday morning at 8:08 a.m. in Aiken's home state, and the new little one is "as loud as his daddy," the proud papa write on his web site.

"HE'S HERE!" Clay writes, "My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.)

"Parker was born at a hospital in North Carolina just this morning at 8:08 AM. Wow... 8:08 ... 08/08/08."

The baby's mother is his good friend Jaymes Foster, a music producer and sister of David Foster.

Little Parker weighed in at 6 pounds, 2 ounces, measuring 19 inches long. The baby was conceived via in-vitro fertilization.

The problem with this is that in theses days, babies are not just Born at that time or date, but were taken at that time and that date. And I say taken because now days you can plan the very day and time of delivery. So how many of these births were natural or not induced or scheduled? How many happened naturally?

I heard on the late news the the baby in Minn was supposed to be born through ceasarean section on the 9th......but the baby had other plans.

Clays baby might have been born through ceasarean though......his baby didn't make the late night news.

New babies are always the best news anyway they get here......
