  Since it first started here in Texas. When gas was reasonable we would cross over to Louisiana from time to time and play Powerball.

  I voted "other" because, though I started playing occasionally back in the early 1980s when it started in Washington, I then quit for many years when I was too preoccupied with work and other things to even think about it.  It has only been in about the past five or six years that I started playing occasionally again and in the past year or so that I've increased that to about half the time.

  This will be my 7th month playing lottery, I wish I win this month because at the end of the month it's my birthday..turning 20 so it would be nice to win something big for my b-day.

  You've got company! I've been playing off and on for 30 years, 12 in FL, and the most I've won is $83Total is probably less than $300.  I only became "serious" about it around 10 years ago and haven't missed a week since.  It's difficult to remember, but back in the 70s, MA had a Wed night lottery drawing for the "Big" one that was $50,000. Times sure have changed. Sometimes I think it's gone too far.

  The WA state lottery started in 84. I would have to shop around at that time for where to get tickets since I wasn't yet 18.

  I have played from day one in Tennessee which isn't as long as some, just started on line a month or so ago, Do ok in tennessee if I could stay away from the scratch offs, smile

  Begen playing when Kentucky started their lotto; 1993 I think it was.  We would drive the hour to Kentucky, buy tickets for several draws, pick up some state-tax free cigarettes, buy cheaper gas, and watch our money disappear into the lotto coffers.

  humm..lets see here..in 1990 I think it was before my son shot me with a shotgun..I had a job like everyone else..lol..I use to be a breadman for Sunbeam bread..I delivered to a little sandwich shop and the guy that owned it started going to florida to buy tickets for anyone that wanted to play..so..I started playing and after seeing the numbers come out here and there a little light bulb went off over my head and I said..humm maybe there is some patterns here so I started tinkering with the numbers..next thing I knew I hit 5 out of 6 on floridas lottery..missed 10 million by one number..yes I was pissed..lol,,but the 3300.00 it paid that week was nice..lol..shortly after that some friends went to florida on vacation and I had them get me some pic 3s and I hit the pic 3..I was hooked then..lol..but you know everything good thing must come to an end..lol..well it turns out the local/federal and I think Florida officials stepped in and told the guy he couldnt go get tickets anymore and bring them back across state lines..plus he was charging a little extra to go..for gas etc..so..I didnt get to play in florida anymore..but I kept my hobby...lol

  no..if you are talking to me..I am not kidding..I hit 5 out of 6 in floridas lottery..paid 3300.00 that week..
