Press releases say that hundreds of people played the digits from the TV show "Lost".  One the show a character won $156 million playing 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42.  Could you imagine if those numbers came up?  That would have been crazy.

That was also mentioned by someone else recently:

It would indeed be interesting, like the fortune cookie wins.

All 6 of Those or just 5 numbers,  4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42  have never come out in Mega Millilon and Texas Lotto

If those numbers had come out: 4-8-15-16-23 / 42....

The 5+0 winners would've taken home a truckload more than the jackpot winners.

I thought about those numbers for about a split second, figured alot of people would play them.

yikes! I just read those numbers and they were part of the QP series I had on my tickets. Lucikly I was humbled and found out I simply broke even when all was said and done on this particular draw :)

It would have been pleasant to see three states hit with grandprize winners. With the bonus feature though there really was plenty of High payouts :)

I played numbers from a TV show, but it wasn't Lost. It was The Colbert Report.

I don't think I would have played the LOST numbers. It just seems like too many people would think to play them...and of course they did.

Haha.  Stephen Colbert was always a hoot on the Daily Show, so when I saw him for the first time last night on the Colbert Report...oh my, too funny!
