That was weird!

I just watched the Kentucky Lottery drawings for tonight's Pick 3, Pick 4, and CashBall. There was a big sign on the front of each ball machine which read, "KLC Test Drawing."

Hmmmmmmm, I think somebody rolled the wrong tape. I hope people don't end up throwing away their winning tickets because of this faux pas.

Did anyone else happen to see this?

All ball drawings go through test drawings. I doubt it will be a big deal at all. Just be thankfull you have ball drawings with minor porblems like that instead of computerized drawings like my state where you can have no trust in how the lottery draws anything.

Well, here's what I found out when I wrote to the Kentucky Lottery Corporation. First, my inquiry; then, their response. You can judge the rest for yourselves.

Last night as I watched the Kentucky Lottery drawings for Pick 3, Pick
4, and Cashball on WDRB Channel 41, there was a sign on each ball
machine which read, "KLC Test Drawing." Why? Were those not the correct
official draw numbers for Saturday night? I've never before seen anything
like that. What happened?

Due to an error by our crew, signs reading "test drawing" were
inadvertently left on the machines used during this past Saturday night's
drawing. However, the drawing that aired that evening was the one that
occurred at 10:58 PM and stands as the official draw. We're very sorry for
any confusion this caused, and are reviewing procedures to make sure
this event never happens again. Thanks for your note, and please let me
know if you have any more questions. Good luck!
