Microsoft just unvieled their new search engine today that is meant to complete directly with Google.
On the search term "lottery", Lottery Post is ranked #3 - a huge vote of confidence by the Microsoft Search team!
Two other HUGE search accomplishments for me:
- USA Mega comes up #2 for the search term Mega Millions
- USA Mega comes up #2 for the search term Powerball

That's great news, not only for you as LEADER, but for all of us who follow LOTTERYPOST.
I don't post that often but I do track lotterypost almost every day. And, I do find some ideas which point me to research and testing in my pursuit for JP.
Some 2 months ago I completed a process of selecting a numbers "pool" which yields all 5 numbers almost every drawing.
Now studying the methodologies for selecting winning combinations from that pool - aren't we all!
Congratulations again and many thanks for your site. In the meantime, SOON? MAYBE!

I just tried the beta link you posted. I searched for Ion Saliu. Indeed, the top two links point to my web site. But, surprisingly, the next two links point to Lottery Post! I have no relation whatsoever to this message board; I just post here, and not too often.

I tried other searches on the new MSN engine. They do search some of my pages significantly higher than Google; e.g. divine proportion or probability theory. I wrote seriously about Internet searching last summer:

My point is that the best search technology should be founded on the book paradigm. For example, a web page has strong connections to other pages at the same website. So, related pages are bound in a book. Back linking has deteriorated the Internet searching dramatically in the past two years or so. As I said, one hundred idiots in any field can backlink mutually and gain high search rankings. In lottery, for example, I have stumbled upon crass misery but those pages were highly ranked by Google.

Okay then. Looks like I should post more often here :)

Very true, good post. I think that recently Google has started to depreciate the value of cross-links in its Page Ranking, but it is still way too prevalent. Looks like Microsoft is really going to make some inroads, unless Google is able to step it up.

One of the problems I have with Google is that many of the top spots are locked up by older sites that are less relevant nowadays. But so many other sites have linked to them that they can't be dislodged.

Also, Google really has no clue as to what makes a good site. It's amazing how things can change so quickly. I used to think Google was the best thing since sliced bread, and now I'm not so sure...

WOW !!! Coming in ahead of the state Lottery sites has got to be a tribute. Google was always the best because sites didn't have to pay to be listed and the listings went on and on unlike msn which charged and cut off weaker sites, so you knew cool new free sites weren't being picked up by msn or their backup source that had also stopped taking submissions. Alta Vista used to be good as google, then one day burp and they're lunch meat. Once people realized many of the search engines were just commercial advertising and not listing new resources web search flowed to google, now we have to see how real msn search is, you already can't leap too deep to see what's at the back of the listings.
