In a press conference to be held today at 4:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time, the Massachusetts Lottery will present the store that sold last night's winning Mega Millions ticket with its commission check.
At that time, the amount of the commission check with be announced.
The winning ticket for last night's $290 million Mega Millions jackpot was sold at Powers Wine Company in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The store owner, Jay Patel, will receive the commission check.
The check will be presented by Doug Rubin, on behalf of the State Treasurer and the Massachusetts Lottery, at the Massachusetts Lottery Headquarters in Braintree.
