The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery grew to $100 million Saturday, reaching that mark for the first time since April 9th.
None of the tickets sold for Friday's $85 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball. The next drawing will be Tuesday.
There were six second-prize winners from Friday night's drawing: 1 from Georgia, 1 from Michigan, 2 from New York, 1 from Texas, and 1 from Virginia. Each matched the five lotto numbers but did not match the Mega Ball number. Each ticket is worth $175,000.
Also, 26 players matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $5,000.
The winning numbers from Friday's drawing were: 12, 28, 36, 39, and 52. The Mega Ball number was 36.
AFAIK this is the first time the same STATE has twin $100m jackpots (other is Lotto TX)
